There was a lot of talk about what girls feel they 'deserve' in positive terms on some of these threads (e.g money). Surely it works both ways?

Everyone deserves a good life, some are just lucky to have that luxury and some not. Some have to work harder for it, and some use their looks to get it. It doesn't mean they are undeserving because they are blessed with good looks, talents, brains, business swag, connections, creativity to earn that financial security. Bad things happen because people who are hateful for their luck cause that problem.

Dude it's not that serious, life does not revolve around the forum, if she's trying to share her opinion it's called debating. I didn't agree with many things she said either, but I'm not going to be the dick to call her degrading names. All for what? An opinion? But She did run away and experienced being homeless in San Francisco due to her father being unsupportive, so she did give up many luxuries to transition, if that's not determination then I don't know what is. She is in the niche of friends with Jennifer Paris who has a millionaire boyfriend, Alisha who's family is an argentinian real estate developer, Kylie X, Sofia, Alisa Paris, Tia who are all overpriced entertainers, And Evon herself from a very well known political family in Asia. Besides the designer clothes, the work, the competition, and the attitude (sometimes), personally speaking to them they are all very nice. I don't know It's different being online and then meeting them in person. But many people who met Evon here actually say she's very nice. So I don't really get the hostility. I'm not bitter or jealous, but it has begun to annoy me that she is always playing the same game with you people, and everyone (mostly everyone) continues to lap it up.

It was a horrible thing when she was threatened with violence. And it was almost certainly the same man who made an appearance in this thread. And again that was at the tail end of an argument where Evon had completely held her own for 100 pages beforehand. If you are familiar with that thread (and not just the hearsay of it), then you will be aware of some of the disgusting things she also said.

And no I am not giving her a break right now, because why should I? I agreed to no longer speak to her, but I still have an opinion which is mine to express on this public forum.

I'm one of those guys. I don't jump from relationship to relationship. I'm completely monogamous, and I'd much sooner try to repair a relationship then look elsewhere. You've raised a few very valid points. Companionship can be important, it isn't any of my business and I don't care, really; there's a limit to empathy when even extremely respectful and and understanding men could simply say no and they have just as much right. It's actually quite difficult and draining for a transwoman to do so, especially in this economy and job market, and especially against a re-married biological mother with out-of-state extended family with money who want a child of their own and aren't above stealing yours (long story), as was my case. People ask me all the time why I haven't gotten breast implants yet, and there's the reason: I've been a single mom throughout my entire transition, and only as of next month will I not have my son 50% of the time. I am quite aware of my order of priorities.

That said, that doesn't mean that I, like most women, don't want security as well as love from a person with which I have a family, but that doesn't mean that I would ever be with someone solely for their money.
