Crash - 1996 with Matt Dillon, Thandie Newton to name just two.

Great movie, seen it several times, very clever integration of several interlinking stories. I challenge anyone not to shed a tear at the scene with the alarm guy and his daughter when they get shot.

Curious as I also watched Crash again recently, and yes that moment is electric. The film works because none of the ensemble lords it over the other and the pieces all fit together; it has a chilling resemblance to Los Angeles, although I only know the place from unwelcome visits. Multi-layered stories have to have that delicate balance to work, Magnolia, for example, was a failure; Babel a Success; Mammoth a failure, and so on.

Glad you share my view on that Stavros, other movies in a slightly similar multi-layered vein to Crash which I enjoyed are; Lucky Number Sleven, Go (Katie Holmes), Jackie Brown & Kill Bill 1&2. Love a bit of over exuberant Tarantino.

Watched "Secretariat" with On Demand. Great story about the triple crown winning horse.

Im July which is clunky and cliched but I guess that's what happens when Germans and Turks try to tell a love story:

and 13 Assassins which is brilliant:

Captain America: the first avenger. It was ok, kinda want to be railed by the main actor though,

Cowboys and Aliens: AWESOME. I'm drooling for Daniel Craig.
