Czech bears? I didn't know that there were bears in the Czech republic or that they drank beer... but that could explain their aggressive behaviour. American bears of course are full of hot air cos they drink Millers, Schlitz or Budweisers.

Re: What is The Last Movie You Watched?
Go to the Martin Beck Theatre and watch Katharine Hepburn run the gamut of emotions from A to B
Dorothy Parker's review of The Lake (1933). The irony is that Parker meant it as a joke as she liked Hepburn, but over-rated Hepburn's talent. I can't think of any other so-called 'actress' who appeared in films, other than Marilyn Monroe, who makes me feel so embarrassed when I see them -and luckily its on tv so I can switch over or off as soon as she appears. Its a pity we can't go through the prints and erase her from history. Parker, incidentally, died in a drunken stupor and left the residue of her estate to Martin Luther King (it was actually passed on to the NAACP).

Went to see Bridesmaids last night with my goddaughter.
Laughed ourselves silly. A really funny film with some wonderful dialogue and real roles for women.
At last - a romcom you wouldn't be ashamed to confess to watching.
But pleasures are like poppies spread
