I didn't hate myself before I transitioned and I didn't and don't hate my penis because I never felt that it had any bearing on who I was as a person; I just hated the fact that I couldn't be my true self, so now I am. I want SRS someday, but I'm not going to rush it.

And please allow me to rephrase something: I suspect you were ashamed to be a gay male. I should have been more clear. There's a huge difference between hating something and being ashamed of it and the two are certainly not mutually exclusive.

I was not ashamed to be a gay guy lol... I have lots of gay friends...and I'll tell you something.. the gay community is way more understanding then the TS community that is hugely inhabited by straight men who haven't got the slightest clue about what being different or a woman is about...
