There are many children, period born into poverty, unfortunately it is about opportunity rather than just pulling one's self up.

I have had far more opportunity than most and am grateful for it but I know that most do not get to go to private school that pretty much sets them up for college.

Some will succeed regardless of circumstances and some will fail regardless of circumstances. The majority of those left will become what their environment molds them into.
