Please provide some background details of Phuket:

    1. What time generally does the street action/dancing/exhibition begin?
    2. Are there strong sales pitches by a lot of different people all day & night long?
    3. Are there bar fines or recruitment fees required when the girl is dancing or offering services in the street? Even when she is not close to the bar/club?
    4. Is there a nice variety (Thai & non-Thai) of food available? Or, is it mainly Thai food?

Thanks in advance for the responses!

    1) Bangla Road is closed to traffic at 6 or 7pm. but it really starts getting going at about 9pm
    2) You will get hassled for tuk-tuks and massages all the time. The most annoying are the indian tailors who walk up to you and try and shake your hand saying they what to be your friend then offer you a suit. You get used to saying no a lot.
    3) Avoid picking up girls off the street, they are the ones who will try and steal from you or are underage. But you wont pay a bar fine if 300-500 baht means that much to you.
    4) There are all types of food available but non-thai food is usually more expensive.

Jimbo, the co-owner of C&D requires high standards of his girls, if they dont meet them, they're out or they get disciplined by Ningnong the co-owner. He doesn't generally like the soi croc girls because they are wham-bang-thankyou-maam. So remember, you get what you pay for.
