Just check out some of the previous Thailand threads,there's a lot of usefull information here.
Also depends on where in Thailand you are going.I prefer the Bangkok scene as I find the beach cities like Phuket and Patteya have too much of
a 'carnival' atmosphere. By that I mean everybody is out to hustle
the 'farang' tourist, the prices are higher and you get less in almost anything you are looking for.
In Bangkok the Nana Hotel is good economy accommodations,clean,cheap,'bargirl friendly',and great free buffet breakfast,and pool.And Nana Plaza and Guess Bar are right there.

Right you are sukumvit boy, but times change, that picture of the team, are at Guess Bar but it has totally changed now:+((
Those girls were the team a couple of years ago.
That is one great reason to update properly before visits.
Personally I think that the team at Cocktails & Dreams is the most reliable for us. They are having a tough time but they are reliable!
