Great thread Kelli! So far I have read through page 6, but I had to stop for sleep-time. I'm currently contemplating dating again. Furthermore, The word 'shemale' has shock value while other terms such as transsexual do not. The reason that I for one get upset is because not every girl wants or needs that extra level of exploitation and subjugation. I know I don't. But the more important issue is that one can't opt out. We should be able to market ourselves as we please. The problem isn't the word in question, but the lack of desire on the part of producers to allow individual models to use alternatives.

For instance, I don't market myself as 'TS Bella Bellucci.' I think it's as tacky as the word 'shemale.' I mean, it's not my name and it's not my identity. It's just a qualifier to me.

I'm one of those guys. I don't jump from relationship to relationship. I'm completely monogamous, and I'd much sooner try to repair a relationship then look elsewhere. I've never been with a transsexual, but I'm not seeking that out either. Even when I was single, I wasn't trying to call up escorts or meet up with chicks off of the net. I sound all defensive, but I'm not. I'm just trying to drive a point across. You may be talking about a different type of guy all together, but I'm pretty close, and if you can find pretty close around here, "prince charming" can't be that hard to find.
