A Plea to the Mods

The last person that got banned was a girl that attended a party and said she saw cocaine at that party. And not only was she banned but alot of her messages were deleted. Jamie started a campaign to get her unbanned and eventually she was. I know kir470 was finally banned for threats. Arnie and Russafa have been here for some years so I don't think the mods are gonna jump in and ban them.

Controversy brings interest! This is something I learned very quickly when the forum I worked for started to fail and go without any comments for days! Sorry but imagine a posting as follows: "omg guys i have to tell you about my day!!! so i woke up, picked the morning goop out of my eyes, made myself totally cute! went for a walk to mcdonald's. stuffed my face, then had a coffee, omg i spent all of my broke ass money!!! and then went home and now i'm talkin to you guys! isn't that like sooo exciting??" or a thread entitled "I shoved a chicken nugget up my ass and Ronald McDonald told me I'm a fag"
....controversy sells!!!! and apparently sex does too..hahahaha

Nobody's gonna do shit. Trust me. I was shocked that Flabby banned LittleGuy. But then he came back the same day, and picked up where he left off as "BigBlackMan", and had a free pass. Then I asked Flabby to take down the tag that said I have an STD, which I DON'T - never have, and he said he couldn't because it was too recent that they banned that CD, Kitty(?), for talking about people using drugs in one of the clubs. Wtf does that have to do with anything? I won't even talk to Johnny anymore because every time I've pointed out that someone was threatening me, he claims, "Oh, I didn't see it. I was too busy with work, sweetie"... Yeah, right. *smfh The last time he called me, I hung up on him. That was when that asshole was giving me shit for not doing an update or two, right after my dad passed away. That's when I walked away from here for a year.

So how is person X "not attracted to black men", which seems to me to be perfectly reasonable, racist in any way? That's what seems to trigger this whole "omg so racist" ranting time after time. Racist is "you're a dirty fucking nigger/Jew/chink/whatever and I hate you", with nothing other than ignorance or whatever to fuel it. Or am I missing something?

There's an element of ambiguity, to be charitable, in the sexual preference thing. That's not my primary target by any means. I'm aiming for the appalling racism displayed by certain posters who seem to go out of their way to give offence quite openly and seem to continue without fear of any sanction.

And the first person who tries to call this "political correctness gone mad" is both a cretin and a racist.

As I said, Nicole, you may well be right. But at least I'm challenging their apparent complacency in open forum, so if there is no action or worse, no response, at least that supposition will be proven, for better or worse.

What people keep overlooking and fail to say is that for a long time it was a couple of the girls (mainly Kelly Shore)who was posting and inflaming these types of racist comments but nobody really cared because they were the only girls posting on here regularly at the time. It's a double edge sword..if they (allow) it with the girls they have to exhibit some (tolerance) with these other dudes.
