Question about tranny parties??????????

Why is it that when I go to ts parties/events i'm one of only a few young men in attendance? I like to divide my time between ts events and straight clubs for meeting women and ts. I like both so I need the balance. When I go to ts events I never really attempt to meet anyone like I do when I chase women in straight clubs b/c its more about the ambiance in the ts clubs. Feels kinda weird that I'm the only young guy there though. I dont want to keep showing up if these are 35+ events.

So why arent there any other young guys to compete with at these things? Is it b/c those parties are working environments?

When I went to the occasional party in NY, I did see young guys,...but I think I know what your saying.
I believe there is multiple reasons, but your last sentence is in fact one of them. They are working environments - and older guys usually understand that.
Older guys at these parties aren't always rich..but their jobs are well established so they have more of a dispensable income than younger guys. Also, for the most part...people tend to mellow a bit with age - meaning older guys aren't always as defensive as younger guys - they don't always feel that they have something to prove with every word that comes out of their mouth- they don't care if they pay for it, they realize that it isn't a slam on their masculinity...and even if it is - they don't give a fuck - they're going to fuck a hot lady even if they have to pay...while the other guy is going home and jerking off. That's usually why they're there.
It's a business arrangement that can be a lot of fun....but younger guys don't always understand this. The girls should like them just for themselves...and be willing to sleep with them for shits and giggles. ...but they have rent to pay...and food to buy...and hormones...and yes shoes to buy...
if you're a mechanic...do you constantly work on peoples cars for free?...no you don't...at least not during working hours. You might do it for someone you like...but you would do it on your own personal time.
This is not their personal time.

I think the fact that they are working environments does have a little something to do with it, but not as much as people would think. Some girls I'll meet want to make it very clear that they are working, actively approaching potential Johns with no solicitation. However, I really don't get that vibe from most of the girls. I think most of them are there to be celebrated and admired and NOT have to work.

Now, as for the lack of young dudes, well, I just think the older crowd has come to terms with it. They are not the kind of guys who, for instance, post threads on this forum with titles like, "I love sucking tranny cock....AM I GAY???" They know what they like and really don't give a shit anymore. So, they are content to lurk in the corners and do their thing. Many of the young guys simply don't have the balls to walk in the front door.

Transsexuals that want to be celebrated and admired..do sometimes go to parties...but for the most part - that's what the straight clubs and discos are for...there, they are admired just for being hot women..not hot transsexuals.

I think Portland must be a city of opposites. It is primarily the reason why I don't attend a lot of the "parties" that the city has to offer... too many young, overly aggressive guys. I would kill for a party with some older, sleazy (strike that) nice guys that can carry on a conversation AND think beyond the front of their pants.

And its crazy how those are the exact type of boys that they want and will risk really
horrible results in strait clubs for them. Oh well...ill just go to more strait clubs then
and only deal with the third scene with minimal consistency. I do need to see room full every now and then to keep my spirits up but ill just cut back n focus on my projects and getting these l.A ladies. Its some really gorgeous women out here.

Cobra was nice although ibe gone twice. The first time i spent the night chatting with someone i knew from ny the second time i got there kinda late, had a couple beers watched the show, chatted with some guy and went to a friends house. I did enjoy it though.
