Obama's narrator for his fluff piece gets exposed for being a phony, shocker eh? Only apologize when you get busted, right Tom?
If a conservative celebrity endorsed Romney or Santorum and took part in a campaign video, the media would run wild.

I don't really give a rats ass if someone dresses up in blackface or if the Wayans brothers make a White Girls film, but it sure is fun to see the self righteous back peddle and give us phony apologies.

Don't see any reason for Tom Hanks to apologize for the actions of a parent of a child who goes to the same school as Tom's children. Don't see any reason why the President needs to dissociate himself from Tom Hanks. Where's the controversy??? Answer: Don't pay any attention to the Trevon Martin murder. Look at this silly Tom Hanks thing instead. Nice try.

-No, Hanks shouldn't have to apologize, but he did.
-No, Obama shouldn't disasociate himself from Hanks, but will you concede that if it were republicans involved a blackface stroy that there would be a media frenzy?
-No controversy, just pointing out that liberals are just as hypocritical as those that they mock.
-Wtf does Trevon Martin have to do with any of this? Red Herring?

...will you concede that if it were republicans involved a blackface Not if they apologized and voiced their disgust as did Tom Hanks without being prompted and were blindsided by the incident as was Hanks. No. Have you explicit examples demonstrating otherwise?
..liberals are just as hypocritical as those that they mock.Everybody, regardless of political party, are susceptible to the same foibles as everyone else, but this you wouldn't be able to prove it by this example.
So once again, there's nothing to see here, and lots to see in almost every other direction you look. So what was the purpose of this article if not distraction?

Trish, the pics are about as relative as Trayvon Martin was to this thread. But you're the one who brought that up; so sorry to stray off that topic and start another thread. We should all know by now that you dictate what is discussed, may the fleas of a thousand camels infest my armpits.

It's the thread that's irrelevant. Like the the topic of this thread, the pics are symptomatic of the GOP desperation to sidetrack all significant discussion.

If it's so irrelevant, why have you responded three times?

lmao....THROW THAT ONE BACK AND KEEP FISHIN'. That picture of Bush holding hands with Prince Abdullah illustrates more than a thousand words could ever the difference between W and the current occupant in lieu of a leader. He invited the Prince to his ranch in Crawford because Americans were feeling the pinch of higher gas prices. The Saudi's later increased production and gas was 1.70/gallon when Bush left office...They held hands....a traditional Saudi custom symbolizing friendship as they walked around the ranch....hell I see 300 pound NFL lineman holding hands in the huddle...so what's your point? .....now juxtapose that with your guy talking about algae telling us to inflate our tires, and running to Oklahoma to tout a pipe line he had absolutely nothing to do with, and will pump no new oil from Canada.....and as the leader of the most powerful nation on earth bowing in submission to a Saudi King. Getting the picture here....? Wow...what a Fail that post was.

There's also a picture of Bush sucking Prince Abdullah's dick, but W keeps that in his private album.

Hang on a sec, both of you - and that, dear Trish, means you as well as OMK. Surely the issue here is less to do with partisan backbiting between the right wing and centre of US politics (there is no discernable left wing), and everything to do with the craven approach of western leaders of every political stripe and nation towards the rancid, hypocritical and oppressive regime that controls Saudi Arabia.
Both directly and indirectly they support arab terrorism, the west is terrified in case they throw a hissy fit and take away our oil supplies, they have a medieval approach to women, and all the while in the meantime we fall over ourselves to supply them with hideous amounts of arms.
Everyone is a hypocrite when it comes to the Saudis.
