Yes, I object to "children" criticising the girls. Lots of reasons, but essentially, why be negative? Encouragement is what works. Do you remember Sarah Sinn? Yes Bangkok is a relatively safe place. It has its fair share of tourist traps and scams though. Travel with a friend, use common sense, and be polite to the locals. You'll be fine.
