pardon me for interjecting, but ...

i live here in BKK and there is a large Muslim community, in fact my condo is surround by three 'mujid' (mosques).

three of my very good LB friends are Muslims. all will tell you it was difficult for their families to accept them at first, but now all 3 have reconciled with them and life goes on. everyone seems to realize that it is not so much a choice, but the way their lives have turned and family is just that, family.

just a few days ago one of them mentioned in our discussion of the subject that the only thing her parents ask is that when she passes away, she allows the removal of all implants as it is the Muslim way. it is the same for any medical 'hardware' as well, such as a metal pin or brace that may have been surgically installed to help a broken bone, or a valve for a heart, etc.

interestingly, all three have been to university and all three have their lives in quite good order, unlike many others who have not had the chance, means, discipline or determination to do so.

First off, sorry this post is kinda old, BUT...You can't "retire" from being TG. That's why this thread angers me. She can retire and come back all she wants. She is TG, is she not? Isn't that what this board is for - TG"s and admirers - of ALL KINDS?

Remember how many were admiring and loving her before she transitioned? There are still that admire and love her after her transition. Imagine the people that admire her and the people that carry disdain. I think the ones that admire her FAR outway the ones that don't. I am one of them.
