Re: Stolen Content Site
I won't name the site I posted to but it wasn't a site that had full videos or a tube site to my knowledge. It had 2-5 minute clips and about 5-10 photos of the girl which would link back to the original site which the photos were shot for.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I think the "legal affiliate" term is what I was unaware of.
Life is short. Just enjoy it.

It would be great if people would take a couple of minutes to read this thread

Re: Stolen Content Site
Let me answer the question at hand.
An affiliate site has previews such as short clips and a few pictures. An illegal site has complete videos and sometimes pictures. These sites can be tough to shut down due to nations having different copyright laws and online laws.

Sounds like you may be talking about what is known as a TGP... thumbnail gallery page. Or maybe I'm wrong.

Re: Stolen Content Site
What's the difference stolen still picture and stolen film ?
IMO nothing, same owners right's in both.
Banning linking of picture's would put many thread's down...

Re: Stolen Content Site
1. Almost all images here are uploaded to the site and not linked, which allows us to remove with a DMCA notice or if the owner asks. Most image content is here with the owners permission to allow promotion of their material and showing a small handful of images, is vastly different to a full length scene. If you don't see the difference there, you've a very narrow vision.
2. If an outside link takes a surfer to a stolen content site, it sends that surfer to discovery of a lot more stolen content. Why would we need to propigate and promote that? Also links help SEO, we've no reason to help raise a pirate site's SEO.
