..."Money doesn't talk, it swears" Bob Dylan
....along with just about every other porn sight I've ever been on. Seems to me that strict policing of kiddie porn is already in place. Is this type of material really that dangerously prevalent in the UK?

Re: Question for the Brits
This has nothing to do with protecting kids, or other groups potentially harmed by images on the web. I'm an expat brit, and go home for a visit every summer. I just went a couple weeks ago. Every year there is another rabble rousing "scare" being pushed by the govt and the press, that allows further surveillance/control of the people. Couple years ago it was stabbings in inner cities, so now there are fuckin big brother cameras everywhere, another year it was gypsies, so now there are laws that allow racial profiling. This year it was child porn on the web. My old, old dad was frothing at the mouth he was so worked up about it, but all he goes on is the stupid Daily Mail whipping people into outrage over the problem du jour. Doesn't even have a PC or internet access. Point is, Cameron couldn't give a shit about kids, they don't even vote, but he does want to play to the angry mob and look like he's doing something. For a US parallel, think flag burning, homo marriage, gun rights, etc, all hot topics that rally the faithful but have about zero impact on real peoples lives. The UK has become a fucking police state, with the population dumbing down and being fed pablum like TOWIE, Idol, Big Brother and other shit to keep them from thinking. Sad.

Re: Question for the Brits
Unless I have missed something as I don't really watch Tv why is UKIP dangerous, personally I think a lot of their policies are bang on especially leaving the shitty expensive EU which costs us, he certainly puts forward a lot of questions that need to answered.

Re: Question for the Brits
you all know that each household has the option too refuse these 'filters' if they wish?? it solves nothing, just shuts up every other fucker in this country that likes to complain about shit but never wants to do anything to stop it and just thinks the government should resolve all their problems. BY NO MEANS am i advocating child porn or rape or anything of the like. i just think we as a society/community should be doing more to help one and other rather than taking up the "its some else s problem" attitude that most Brits have nowadays

Re: Question for the Brits
Ok I missed that lol but looked it up and tbh it sounds plausible, when its added up Mr Farage quote on quote.
"Let's have a look at this £2 million, which is £200,000 a year over a decade. I know this sounds a lot but it includes salaries for staff in the regional office and in Brussels, the running of a large regional office, my travel, not just to Strasbourg and Brussels, but to all parts of the UK in my role as leader. Believe me it doesn't leave very much".
I put it down to the vested interests of the powers that be and their media manipulation machine skewing the facts, the guy is a straight talker whereas most pollies are full of shit and evade.
