The Better Choice

by Mike Grooby · November 6, 2025

Nikka spends the evening talking with her best friend, who can’t stop venting about a rocky relationship. She listens patiently, offering comfort and a few playful smiles along the way. As the talk goes on, Nikka’s tone softens and she leans in a little closer, gently suggesting that maybe the best choice has been right in front of them all along. It’s a moment that blurs the line between friendship and something more, filled with warmth, honesty, and a spark neither of them expected.
