Los Angeles, CA – Pre-nominations are now open for the 2016 Transgender Erotica Awards, which will be held on March 6, 2016 at the Avalon in Hollywood. Fans can nominate their favorite performers, DVDs, and scenes attheteashow.com. The closing date is December 6, 2015.

Industry members and fans can nominate performers, scenes, directors, and DVDs that have excelled in the last 12 months.   A short-list of nominees is created from all the suggestions given during the pre-nomination phase.

“This is start of the busiest time of the year for me,” stated Grooby’s Marketing and Editorial Director, Kristel Penn.  “Last year we received hundreds of eligible nominations and we have to parse that down for short-lists for the judges.  I’d hope people can have a think about who really deserves to be on the nomination list this year and put their best ideas forward.”

New categories have been added to the event this year: FTM Best New Face, Best Grooby Girl, and Best Industry Professional. The pre-nomination form and a full list of categories can be found at theteashow.com.

The Transgender Erotica Awards, now in its eighth year, celebrates the accomplishments of the trans adult industry and its performers. Due to its growing popularity, the TEAs have been expanded into a three day event kicking off with a day time TEA Con for fans on Saturday, the Awards on Sunday, and the official After Party on Monday.

Sponsorship and media inquiries can be directed to kristel@grooby.com.

The 2016 Transgender Erotica Awards will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA. The official After Party will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Avalon’s connecting property, the Bardot. More information can be found at theteashow.com.

Transgender Erotica Awards Changes Dates to March 6-7, 2016

Los Angeles, CA – The upcoming dates for the Transgender Erotica Awards have been changed to March 6-7, 2016 due to a scheduling conflict with the Grammy’s and the unnecessarily high costs of hotel, transport, and entertainment that would be incurred by guests. The event will still be held at the Avalon for the Awards and its connecting property, the Bardot, for the After Party.

‘We’ve always ran the show on the President’s Day weekend but this year the clash with the Grammy’s has caused us to look at the impact it would have on all of our out of town guests,” said Grooby owner Steven Grooby. “I appreciate it’s not ideal to change a date after it’s been announced, but I hope it’s early enough so plans can be changed and I apologize to anyone who has been unduly inconvenienced. We’re working on some extra goodies for the show, including hotel options to try and help all our attendees have an incredible weekend.”

Grooby, the company that hosts the Transgender Erotica Awards (the TEAs), was concerned by the high cost of hotel, transportation, and additional expenses guests would incur by hosting the event the same weekend as the Grammy’s and decided it would be beneficial to move the event to a later date.

“By giving almost six months notice, we’re trusting this decision won’t affect anyone’s plans too drastically,” said Grooby Marketing Director Kristel Penn. “If it has, however, caused undue hardship to any of our guests, I encourage them to contact me immediately.”

Individuals who have already booked travel arrangements should contact kristel@grooby.com. Additionally, all sponsorship and media inquiries can be directed to her.

The 2016 Transgender Erotica Awards will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA. The official After Party will be held on Monday, March 7, 2015 at the Avalon’s connecting property, the Bardot. More information can be found at theteashow.com.

Burbank, CA – Transformation Magazine announced that their upcoming issue is a special guest edited edition from Grooby Productions. The two companies teamed up earlier this year to collaborate on the project. Issue #93  is expected to hit stands today, March 3rd, 2015, and will also be available for purchase online at transformationonline.com.

“The collaboration with Grooby Productions on issue 93 of Transformation was enlightening to me as an editor on a few levels; not only is their content unique and diverse but when speaking to Steven I got a deep sense of the impact this magazine has had to the community for so many years,” said Transformation’s Publisher and  Editor-in-Chief Hanna Rodgers. “After publishing for over two decades and celebrating everyone on the gender spectrum I knew it was important to reach out to a younger, more internet-savvy generation and who better to help me with that mission than the industry leader of TS adult entertainment?”

“I’ve always harbored a desire to be a magazine editor so having this opportunity to dip my feet in the water has been a career highlight,” said Grooby Productions owner Steven Grooby. “We were very careful to provide a wide range of material and not just adult industry related, which is why we commissioned a special on the current London scene, some political and lifestyle pieces as well as hopefully bringing a little comedic value – but of course, we also showcased one of our top models in Kylie Maria as well as introducing some of my picks for talents for 2015. I’d like to thank all the Grooby staff involved in putting this together and of course, Hanna whose trust I hope will be rewarded with a great issue.”

Issue #93 includes a sultry multi-page spread from Transformation’s cover model and Shemale Yum Model of the Year, Kylie Maria, a feature on top models to watch in 2015, a TEA Show re-cap and history, a guide to TS clubs in London, in addition to exclusive content from Grooby Productions. The issue can be purchased directly at  http://centurianonline.com/transformation-93
