Steely Dan took their name from the Burroughs book Naked Lunch. Steely Dan II is a giant metal dildo.

I agree. Graceland was the last truly great album. IMHO his achievement with the trilogy of songs about the American Dream - America, from Bookends, American Tune from Kodachrome, and Graceland, from the eponymous album, are the musical equivalent of Steinbeck's finest prose. Carved in granite.
