When it's played well, there's no more beautiful sport. There was probably too much at stake tonight - the winner over the home and away legs will compete in the final of the European Champions League trophy next month at Wembley, almost certainly against Manchester United. Even Sammi will have to admit that!

And the rivalry between Real and Barca is political as well as emotional.
