Yes Bangkok is a relatively safe place. It has its fair share of tourist traps and scams though. Travel with a friend, use common sense, and be polite to the locals. You'll be fine.

I visited Bangkok several years ago and had a great time at Nana Plaza.The Majestic Grande hotel is very close and convenient.
I also enjoyed a TS/TV cabaret in an upmarket hotel in another part of the city. Can anyone tell me the name of the cabaret and the hotel.?
Also are ther any cabaret or striptease or poledancing TS places near Nana Plaza.

I believe the name of the caberet is Calypso Cabaret. It's a great time. The women are beautiful and can sing your ears off. You can get an all you can eat Brazilian BBQ dinner before the show included in the ticket price.
