A response to a female's perspective written in Men's Health

No fuckin doubt, JWBL. Good post. I was just thinking along these lines the other day. I was standing outside a restraunt, in the smokers patio, and this girl started going on about how she wished it would get warm enough to wear all the new shoes she bought. I asked her "what the hell is it with women and shoes? Guys don't really care what shoes you wear."

(Oddly enough, I did once ask a girl about her shoes, but that's another story)

She said that "girls compete with each other for guys attentions", blah blah blah, same old story. She never gave any rational answer for the female shoe fetish. . . that guys don't generally care about. . . but girls do it to compete for guys attentions. . . but only other girls know what's going on, anyway. . .

Loony, loony, loony.

I'm going to have to make it a point to look at potential one-night stands and say to them, "I really like your shoes. They look cute on you." And drop it such that it doesn't come off as, "Nice shoes, wanna fuck?"

It'd make those women paranoid such that men actually cared.

There's an element of truth in a lot of this, but it's far too cynical
and bitter.

Men and women can and do have happy relationships. It takes a lot
of honest communication, trust, selflessness, and at times forgiveness.
