7$ is too much?

It's not too much if you like the model and want to support them, or their content is excellent. But that's $84 per year. I just subscribed to one of the biggest professional websites for $99 (on sale every year around this time). There I can download (and keep) terabytes of professionally-shot videos with probably a thousand different models (mix of trans and cisgender). $84 for the selfie videos of one model who might update a few times a week (or maybe only once a month, there's no guarantees) is a terrible value for the money, compared to the cost of a professional website.

So unless you really like a model, and you just want to help them and the money isn't an issue at all, fan sites are a terrible bargain. Imagine you want to follow 6 different models at $7 a month... that costs $500 a year for only 6 models, with no guarantee of frequency or quality.

Long rant coming...

One perspective is that this is the girl’s job and you wouldn’t thank someone for your paycheck. I suppose tips are different, but take servers as an example, they don’t thank you for tips because you’re gone.

The deeper truth is a lot of these girls have very little concept of the value of money. A hondo is nothing to them, just one more hundred to spend frivolously, and there’ll be more tomorrow. Many of them have addiction issues. NOT ALL OF THEM. Many of them.

I don’t do OnlyFans, but I do go to Vegas fairly often. I give all the girls $300. If they ask for $100 I give them $300. If they ask for $500 I offer $300 and they take it or I’d move on - big surprise, never had to. If it’s awesome I’ll tip them more on my way out the door. But one thing that seems clear to me is that very few of these girls have clear ideas about where money comes from or how it should be used.

I’d suggest lowering your expectations. Agreed, a thank-you isn’t much to ask. Some girls were raised better than others.
