I would have to agree with the points ed_jaxon made. But sadly people take offense to idea of it. I would guess that they are the same ones who find BET to be unnecessary and offensive. I just don't see the harm behind it.

I'm Black...but I don't think there should be a separate category....

Well, like I said before, I don't see the harm. I think having multiple ethnic award categories would be a good thing in general. Being that Grooby has sites catered towards black, latin,and asian girls, having specific award categories for them only makes sense to me. Now with that said I don't think that should disqualify them for being eligible for general categories. I just think the lesser exposed girls would benefit greatly from it.

Trans-porn as a genre is so miniscule in the big scheme of things, I don't see what's wrong with giving nearly all the girls an award if they produce a certain number of scenes or sell a particular amount of views.

-Asian
-Native American
-Bollywood Indian

Etcetera....etcetera....etcetera....

That's the slippery slope argument and not really valid. There aren't large groups of Asian, Native American or Indian models that are getting overlooked, compared to Black Models.

We can only get about 16 nominees into each category to make it able to be judged. The 16 performers/models that we currently have in Best Solo Model and Best Hardcore Model are all fantastic and deserve their slot in there, only one in each is a person of colour.

For whatever reasons, when polled, members of Black Tgirls or this site, barely put a black girl forward. How many of you pre-nominated? How many put a black model in? I don't believe this is because you don't rate black models as highly in most instances, but non-black girls tend to get more exposure, spend more time on social network interacting. There are only a couple of companies that specialise or work regularly with black tgirl models, so the producers are unable to put in also.

I think you over analyse things.. You are free to have whatever categories you like as organiser or those competitions. Some people will like it, others will not... It doesn't harm anybody. All you lose is that extra trophy you need to have made!
