When I drove there (very briefly in 2012--I went there for the Bathurst 1000) I was always thrilled when I saw double kangaroo and wombat crossing signs.

I love the road signs! but my god are some roads super frightening! they have one way freeways, depending on the time of day, depends on the direct of traffic and which way you can drive along it!
