As to the replies about don't blame the victim, I don't think that's exactly what's being said here. That implies the victim took an active part in bringing about the assault....a woman is raped....well, she shouldn't have been wearing such a short skirt.... she was askin for it (tho I think someone actually did say that) that's not what I'm saying.
To me, it's more like the poor folks who lose their homes to a volcano. It's a terrible tragedy but no one blames the people for causing the volcano to erupt. By the same token, you gotta ask well, gee, don't you think there might be a better place to build your house than on the side of an active volcano? It's sorta the same thing in this case. Here's a guy who makes his living by fighting and has his name legally changed to a moniker suggesting belligerence who had a history of violence and even did a couple years hard time for assault. So it's not so much that blame is being placed on her so much as well, couldn't she have thought , ya know, gee maybe it might not be such a good idea to hang out this close to that active volcano.

War Machine is an idiotic douchebag with a long history of violence and being repeatedly incarcerated. Some women such as Christie Mack love the bad boys. When he was in prison before this he had hot women writing him. It's best to avoid these types because playing with fire you'll get burned. I suspect any concerns she may have had had were overridden by the thrill and excitement of going with a dangerous man hence her tattoo "Property of War Machine"

I don't blame the victim. My heart goes out to her and I hope that they throw away the key once he's locked up again. There are, however, lessons to be learned if you value your safety.

This is why we need single-payer health care.... Where everyone is covered, everyone is taken care of, whereby we care about one another.
That's what public health care is: I care about you, I care about Christy, I care about everyone.
Most doctors support this, most nurses, too.
Up in Canada doctors are private... but the insurer is the state. In Britain it's different. Doctors work for the state.
Probably Australia has the best possible system. Don't quote me on that -- ha ha!
Anyway, I think we should care about one another.
Plus it's far more efficient.
But public health care isn't seen as politically realistic. Meaning: big pharma and big insurance don't want it.
And corporations dictate public policy. They usually do win.

We needed it for a long time. Doctors have become nothing more than sales people for big pharma, not only that, the food we buy into the grocery stores is nothing but chemical shit made into food-like products, even meat products are so filled with chemicals and hormones it's not funny.

If everyone is telling you the guy you think is hott beats women and has an anger management problem, if you still choose to date him you absolutely need to take personal responsibility when he knocks you out.

...well, in a way, yes. Mind you, I am in no way denigrating those honorable people who decide to serve their country in that way, but unless you're drafted or otherwise coerced into joining the military, you have voluntarily decided to place yourself at high physical risk by entering into combat situations. Hmm, ya know, I think I'll become a coal miner, it's a good steady job w/ union benefits and everything. Well, looky here, I seem to have contracted black lung disease. Imagine that.
The worse thing a certified public accountant gets is a fat ass or maybe a little carpal tunnel....you join the infantry you run the risk of stepping on an IED. Poor judgement or not...whatever the semantics of it may be...you make a conscious decision to enter into risky behavior, you should be prepared to accept the possible consequences.
