Hello, like many of you, I don't get to watch much t.v., but I am following Dracula on NBC. I hope it dosen't get canceled, although they eleminated many of the main characters in the final episode.

Re: TV Shows...What are you following?
Inside Number 9, the latest offering from Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton, two members of the gloriously grotesque League of Gentlemen. Last week's episode featuring them as a couple of hopeless burglars, and virtually dialogue-free, was not only clever but also laugh out loud funny.
And following the sad passing of The Bridge, I'm greatly compensated by the return of Line of Duty, Jed Mercurio's coruscating drama about police corruption.
Both on BBC2, both very highly recommended.

Re: TV Shows...What are you following?
I also saw that Inside No 9 and assumed it was a one-off -is it a series?. Unusual to have a half-hour comedy sketch, but it was very well done -and the queen definitely looked better with the wig on...

Just out of interest, what was it about Inside No 9 that you didn't like? I don't know what The League of Gentlemen is, other than the Jack Hawkins film.

Re: TV Shows...What are you following?
I am just not a fan of the sort of grotesquerie that this series - and the dark humour of The League Of Gentlemen - offered (a thousand miles from the old Jack Hawkins film). But that's a personal thing, isn't it. Humour above almost anything else is such an individual thing. I loved Monty Python for instance, but close friends hated it. Some loved the Three Stooges and hate The Marx Brothers. I'm a Marxist on that one.
