I happen to know for a fact that at least one percent of people are in the top one percent of intelligence. That's one out of a hundred people are smarter than the other 99 out of a hundred people.

I think I do. You're only making yourself seem more qualified for the role. You must really want it bad(ly). Chairman with special responsibility for pedantry looks great on the resume..errr did I screw that up somehow?

This is a very good point. An IQ test breaks down a person's intelligence based on their age. You can be a field farmer and have very high intelligence (IQ), yet never finished high school. Just because someone has gotten multiple degree's doesn't make their IQ above average either. An IQ test primarily breaks down a person's thought process, how they view problems, and relate things that aren't always easily relatable.

    Bollocks.

Some of the randiest people I've ever known, both male and female, have been high-flying academics, and they've been straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, you name it.

And a liking for transsexual sex isn't any different. Who says you can't do differential calculus or conjugate greek verbs while having a 69 with a lovely tgirl?

Just where did you get this crap from?
    1) Did you read the post where I said trans-people, and trans-admirers, can be intelligent or not?

    2) My source was transladyboys.com. That's why I said my example was from transladyboys.com.

    3) A serious topic was raised. Then entered King Quipper. Ignoring posts that didn't fit his argument and starting a pissing contest.

    4) Here's source #2. HungAngels. Top 10 favourite threads. Do you remember that thread? How many were intellectual? None? Really?

    5) Source #3. HungDevils. It has a section for "intellectual" although its actual title is "Real Trans Issues". The activity is pretty close to zero. But the main forum has a decent turnover, not of trans intellectual, but of more or less the same stuff that powers HA i.e. porn.

I suspect that "trans intellectual" will be deader than "Real Trans Issues" within about a month. The porn threads will go marching on.

If transsexuals are no more or less intelligent than anyone else, there's no reason to believe a page where they discuss serious issues will be any less successful than one hosting those who are not transsexual. Being no more or less intelligent means they will have a normal proportion of interesting people who can engage one another on these subjects.

Your argument doesn't hold water. Interest in sex does not negate interest in other subjects.

And as for those transsexuals who have engaged in the politics and religion section of the forum, they have always given as good as they get (no pun intended). This part of the forum is geared towards sexual issues so it's no surprise that that's what you see the most of.

And judging by the group of girls we have here, I actually believe that for whatever reason they are smarter than average. My assumption was only for illustrative purposes.

I think this is a great idea, would it be possible to also start a sub section or thread on HA?
