this is a tricky situation... who's to say that a man in drag won't claim they're transgender just to check out girls changing?... i think there need to be stricter guidelines.... therapists letter, evidence of active HRT, etc...

Who's to say an old lesbian won't do the same thing?

The issue seems to be one of maybe having age restrictions at certain times and following modesty guidelines.

I think people should have equal rights. However, even though there are laws ruled in favor of transgenders you have to be smart enough to know where to draw the line. Things will NEVER be 100% accepting, NEVER. Especially if you try to flaunt it in the face of all.

Doesn't matter whether people are 100% accepting or not, but laws and policies should be 100% equitable and they determine the line. If the university doesn't want transgender women to be naked in the sauna, they should have a policy that says no one can be naked in the sauna.

Scheduling different times of locker room use for different age groups can be problematic. High school meets usually are evening affairs, but that is also a peek time for college student use the gym. Americans just gotta stop being prudes.

In Europe is pretty often people will 100% go nude in the locker room, no private changing rooms etc.

Even before taking any hormones, I always covered myself in a towel or used the bathroom to change my cloth. Once i was 4-5 months on estrogen, i just stopped going to the gym, as i figured out i'll make men uncomfortable going to the men locker room because i have boobs, women will be uncomfortable because i have a penis.

(funny thing as i slowly started to look different so many men felt threatened and stopped speaking with me, while more women will chat with me)

This said, how often do we have cases of trans women, going to women bathroom or locker room, and raping or harassing GG?

On the other side how many trans women, got harassed, beaten up or even raped while using locker room or bathroom?

If i was a man trying to pick up women, i wouldn't pretend to be trans or dress like a women and use their bathroom, i'll have more chances finding a woman while dressed like a man an acting like a man at the end of the day.

She have a dick? while i would never do what she did. it is not like she is shoving her dick, down other women throat. if you don't like how it look, just look the other way. Is she walking around telling other women: hey look at my dick, do you find it beautiful?

When I went to the gym with my gf at the time, we used a family changing room to avoid this kind of scenario. That's not always going to be an option, I know, but it helps avoid the "embarrassment" in these types of issues.

One time we did go to the male changing room at a local swimming pool, and that did raise a few eyebrows. But it's not like we were blatant about it or anything. Just need to exercise good judgment and an appropriate time/appropriate place mentality.

it sounds more to me lik this girl just wants to be naked. that's all well and good but when you do things like this, no matter the gender, you're asking for issues.

I don't care about the religious aspect of any of the complaints or anything like that, but I have to agree with qwerty94... who knows if this person isn't just using the TG thing as an excuse? I mean, you have a 45 year-old person using a school facility... where school-aged youth go. I kind of have a problem with it on that basis only. If it was an adult-only locker room, fine, but the fact that high-school kids use the place kind of makes me think there's more to this.
