As a consumer of the content, I notice the same guys seem to be in almost every scene. I don't think a lot of straight guys who are also into tgirls are brave enough to get involved. I think primarily gay guys aren't suited for it because it confuses the chemistry of the scene - its palpable. The producers have a very narrow profit margin and a very short shooting slot. They also have very little money available to pay the "talent"
It may be "Hollywood" but it ain't Martin Scorsese.
If you google on pornstar income, you will find that it's pathetic. As far as I can see, the most lucrative income for the stars is feature dancing or a few weeks at Moonlight Bunny Ranch.
