Zimmerman will end up getting his asshole stretched out in prison for one simple reason:

As soon as he got out of his vehicle & gave chase on foot, he became the threat, & therefore initiated the assault. Whatever happened between that point & the gunfire is irrelevant. Claims of self defense, "stand your ground", & whatever don't apply when you create the confrontation.

As far as I'm concerned, he needs to be locked away for committing the universal crime of being stupid.

Not exactly. Something similarly happened in New York (i.e., the shooter creating the confrontation) and the individual was found not guilty by a jury.

Since the Martin shooting, this story has gotten some spotlight because the shooter is Black and the dead teen is White.

He was clearly arrested as we can see in the video from the police station. He gets out of the police car in cuffs.

The question is what happens after that...Let me see...



My father is an ex-judge who is retired in Florida...make the phone call.

Zimmerman's dad called in a favor and when the shit hit the fan and this was put out there under the floodlights, the cover-up began in my opinion.

That is how things work...If you know the right people, sometimes you can get away with murder.

Lets see what happens. Will he be arrested again...or not?

First of all, I am "African-American". I'm not meaning to be disrespectful to you or anyone else on this forum. But I'd like to know why you're copying and pasting a bunch of info about race and ethnicity and websites with that information on it. This situation shouldn't even be about race. It should be about morality and principle, period. Without even getting emotional about racial issues, or trying to bring religion into it, which is what those two "reverends" are doing, anyone can use logic and reason and see that something is not right. As a person who adheres to libertarian, objectivist, and secular humanistic values I can see that something is not right. And, yes, as time goes on we are getting more information which is a good thing.

What you said about Hispanic people is wrong. Generally speaking, first and foremost, they have indigenous/native/Amerindian ancestry. This is obvious from their appearance. You did not mention that. You were right about African and European. Several times as many West African slaves were sent to Mexico, the West Indies, Central, and South America than to the USA. You mentioned Spanish and English, but you need to mention Portuguese because they made a very large percentage of the European immigration. Immigrants from other areas in Europe such as France and Germany also went there. Generally speaking, there were no racial marriage laws or segregation laws in these countries/colonies as opposed to the USA. There was a caste system based on skin color and racial family history. There still is to a certain extent, but over the centuries it's become very hard to determine exactly what someone's ethnic mixture is so it's for the most part very impractical nowadays. Major terms are as follows; Negro = black, Mulatto = white/black, Zambo = black/native, Mestizo = white/native (you weren't accurate about that), and there are several other terms depending on other amounts/percentages of ancestry, but as you can see it gets to the point that it's like splitting hairs. That's why the vast majority of Hispanic/Latino people who come to the USA don't adhere to our rules of ethnic identification even if they LOOK mostly white, black, or native american. A lot of "African-Americans" like myself wouldn't be called "negro" in Latin America. Although my skin is light brown and my features are clearly mixed (I have maternal and paternal great-grandmothers who were biracial black/native, and white ancestors as well such as a maternal great-great-great grandfather) I am called black in the USA because of the racist "One Drop Rule" that was instituted during slavery (it increased the amount of slaves despite their race) and it still lingers in society today. Things are/were very different in Latin America. Mixing between white, black, and native was very common. For example, Mexico's first president Vicente Guerrero was white/black/native. In the nation of Argentina today, the vast majority of people identify as "white" because of a more recent wave of immigrants from Italy and Germany (the first ones to arrive were Spanish). But 150 years ago most of the population was largely native and black ("mulattoes", "mestizos", "zambos", etc included), with only 3% identifying as unmixed white. Today, there's only a very small percentage of people who look non-white. Those non-European people didn't just disappear. Their children are today's Argentinians.
