It's perfectly legitimate to get on here and fawn all over Obama and tell us why you love him. If you did that, I'd counter with specifics, if I was so inclined. That's a disagreement. That's what our political system is based on. What's not legitimate, and what I won't put up with from you or anybody else , and will counter punch every time is when you try to make your point not affirmatively, but chose to disparage and disrespect others who have a difference of opinion with you. When you call people disgusting because they see the world differently, you make it personal. Not only that, you don't advance your advocacy one inch, but reveal a lack of substance. That's when you're gonna get it back pointblank between the eyes ( metaphorically speaking) Can you understand that....or is it so habitual that you and others don't even realize you're doing it? You want to keep the discussion civil and specific, don't reach for the pejoratives. Read back over the thread, and see where it went off the rails....You cast the first stone baby... It's really that simple, and I'll be damned if I'm going to sit here and be disrespected by someone who's own views and opinions have been called into question so often.
