I watched "American Psycho" last night on the IFC channel. Lots of gore and rough sex with nudity but ultimately thought it was not time well spent. If anyone is hot for Christian Bale, it's worth a look, I guess.

A wonderful film called Margin Call - a powerful drama with brilliant ensemble playing about the economic crisis. Built around a fictionalised version of (I think) Lehman brothers. A powerful picture of greed and amorality and big business driving onwards despite the cost to tens of thousands of ordinary people.
