Katalin Varga, a film made in Hungarian and filmed in Romania by a British director. It was shown on BBC4 tonight, so no ad breaks.
A relentless, enigmatic chase thriller in glorious countryside and beautifully shot. Highly recommended.

The Poseidon Adventure remake. OMG, that movie sucks eggs!!! Include 2103: The Deadly Wake!
I would have rather watched Godzilla with Matthew Broderick.

Re: What is The Last Movie You Watched?
Il Y A Longtemps Que Je T'aime (I've Loved You So Long, 2008 ) - long drawn out movie about a woman who is trying to reconnect with her sister after 15 years in prison for murder. Kristen Scott Thomas (5/10)
Spiral (Engrenages, 3 seasons) - engaging French cop series following one complex murder case per season. Great cast, superb acting
The Wave - Die Welle (German, 2008 ) - high school teacher tries to teach students the power of a dictatorship through example, but it takes a wrong turn.
Beautiful Boy (2010) - heavy movie about a couple about to separate when they find out their only child is responsible for a college killing spree. Slow, but the acting is sharp. I watched this right after Il Y A Longtemps Que Je T'aime. Bad idea....
Hostel (2005) - had seen it before but got a better copy. Meh. Standard horror flick set in Eastern Europe
