IF you are of a nervous disposition then make a date to avoid C4 at all costs.

Across America, people armed with no medical knowledge and a syringe are carrying out illegal plastic surgery operations.

Some even hold parties and sip Chardonnay while pumping industrial-grade silicone, used to fill furniture and in car engines, into their victims' faces.

One had regular injections in a church car park while another had an op on a bar counter. Ronaldo Silvestre was dubbed the Butcher Of South Beach as he mutilated immigrants in Miami.

He shared an office, complete with "operating table", with an estate agent. Yet in one terrifying scene, in a video he shot himself, he is seen operating on a former world-champion bodybuilder.

The vain Mexican wanted firmer pecs so, using a cake spatula, the fake doctor tried to shove a woman's implant into his chest. In the background, the victim can be heard moaning repeatedly as he comes round from the anaesthetic. "He came out looking like a Playboy model," his lawyer said. Lawyers feature heavily. One, who represented a couple who killed a woman by inflating her buttocks to the size of a small hippo's, was really vile.

"It's not every day you represent a gay man and his transsexual lover charged with pumping silicone into someone's ass," he chortled, oblivious to the fact his client was sent down for 30 years and a woman was dead.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - A South Florida man wanted on charges of posing as a doctor and botching cosmetic surgery has been arrested in Belize, where he was teaching medicine.

Federal agents say Reinaldo Silvestre is charged with organized fraud, aggravated battery, practicing medicine withOUT a license and grand theft. He will remain in custody in Belize until he is formally extradited to the United States.

Investigators say Silvestre performed operations on champion bodybuilder Alexander Baez and at least two women, resulting in gross disfigurement and severe physical and emotional pain. Police say Baez went to Silvestre's Ocean Health Center in Miami Beach to have his pectoral muscles enhanced. But he woke up to find he had been given female breast implants.

Baez' attorney also says veterinary anesthesia was used on his client, who woke up three times during the procedure

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- A potentially dangerous cosmetic practice has left some victims who had thought they would get fuller lips and shapelier bodies horribly and permanently deformed. In a metro Atlanta case, the procedure killed a woman.
A 29-year-old woman and her husband said they went to a Stone Mountain motel in May of 2009 where someone injected dimethyl silicone into her left buttock. The idea was to give her a larger, curvier rear end.
WSB-TV obtained the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Autopsy Report, which said the woman reportedly developed trouble breathing.“ Emergency medical personnel were summoned, and the subject was transported to Emory Eastside Medical Center where she was pronounced dead, despite attempts at medical intervention,” the report said.
"They take someone's life for a five dollar tube of caulk. It's not right," said the victim's aunt, who did not want to be identified.
A medical expert with extensive experience with the procedure said it was all wrong from the beginning. Dr. Vikisha Fripp-Vincent, a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, trained at a New York hospital. Over and over, she said she saw patients who flew out of the U.S. to get cosmetic injections of silicone, flew back to America and rushed immediately from the international arrivals gate to a New York City emergency room.
“One in a thousand people who get silicone injections die,” said Dr. Fripp-Vincent. “The other 999 out of a thousand end up with permanent deformities.”
In the Stone Mountain case, the autopsy report concluded the cause of death was “silicone emboli within pulmonary vasculature due to injection of dimethyl silicone into left buttock.” Put simply, the silicone got into her bloodstream, traveled to her lungs, stopped circulation and killed her. Manner of death, said the autopsy report: “homicide.”
Dimethyl silicone is “a chemical first-cousin” to the silicone you use to caulk your bath tub???? It comes in a wide range of viscosities, or thicknesses, and is widely used as a lubricant. It is a clear, odorless, chemically inert, tasteless substance used in car polishes, vinyl fabric protectant and for lubricating rubber, plastic and machinery at a wide range of temperatures. But Dr. Fripp-Vincent said it is absolutely not approved for injecting into the human body, despite practitioners claiming they are using “medical grade” silicone.
She told Channel 2 Action News the silicone wraps around all the cells in the injection site and eventually hardens, so there is no way to get it out but to cut out the affected flesh. Often before hardening it oozes back out through ruptures in the skin. It causes gross deformities, Dr. Fripp-Vincent said.
She showed us a prosthetic breast implant, in which the silicone is safely encased in a pliable, plastic material. She pushed, tugged, stretched and yanked on the soft, pliable case and it did not break and release the silicone.
Doctors stress, once injected you can never get rid of the silicone. The swelling is permanent. In a Miami case, two people were convicted and sent to prison (one conviction was later overturned) for injecting silicone into a woman who died from it. In the Stone Mountain case, police said they have the name of a suspect who they believe has left the area and for whom they are looking.
The head of the Poison Control Center at Grady Memorial Hospital said a doctor in the emergency room there had one case of a man who had self-administered a silicone injection to enlarge his genital area. He went to the ER with deforming, swelling and extreme discomfort, the hospital said.
Channel 2 did not get details about the treatment. Said Channel 2 reporter Jeff Dore, “I really didn’t want to go there.”

Under Pressure, Doctor Stops Silicone Injections

Dr. Norman Orentreich, the New York doctor who was a prominent advocate of using injected silicone to smooth wrinkles, halted the practice on Monday because of pressure from a Federal investigation, his lawyer said today.
The investigators are looking into doctors who have continued to inject silicone despite reports over the years of occasional catastrophic results like permanent sores and lumps. In rare cases, large amounts were injected and death resulted when the silicone migrated to the lungs.
Dr. David A. Kessler, Commissioner of Food and Drugs, has barred the interstate shipment of silicone for injection; Dr. Orentreich says he obtains silicone in New York and purifies it himself.

Peter Safir, a lawyer for Dr. Orentreich, said the doctor stopped injecting silicone on Monday. On Sunday, The New York Times reported details of the investigation in an article about the potential hazards of silicone injection.
Mr. Safir said that Dr. Orentreich maintains "absolutely that these injections are safe."
Dr. Orentreich leads the Orentreich Medical Group, a practice on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan that includes several physicians and carries out a variety of cosmetic surgery procedures. The practice became well known over the years because of the celebrities who came to Dr. Orentreich for silicone injections. He was an outspoken advocate of the injections, which had been outlawed in California and Nevada.
The Food and Drug Administration is also investigating other doctors who have used silicone injections and has sent warning letters to Dr. Richard Aronsohn in Los Angeles, Dr. Ricardo Samitier-Cardet in Miami and Dr. James E. Fulton Jr. in Orange County, Calif..
Representative Ted Weiss, a Manhattan Democrat who has investigated both injections and gel implants for more than a year, said today: "I applaud Dr. Kessler's decision to finally halt the illegal use of silicone, but it is sad that previous commissioners allowed this dangerous practice to continue for more than 25 years. It was not until Congress and the media focused attention on the risks of silicone that the F.D.A. finally acted to halt the practice of some of the most outspoken advocates of silicone injections."
The F.D.A. and Dr. Orentreich's lawyers are negotiating over a consent agreement under which Dr. Orentreich would halt his use of silicone injections to avoid an immediate injunction and a seizure of the liquid silicone at his offices.

Medical grade silicone is not just based on the grade of silicone being used. If the grade is pure but the container is open to the air then it is not medical grade anymore. Real medical grade silicone comes in a closed container similar to a bottle of hormones and is air tight. Also if you price a bottle of “real” silicone, it’s very very very expensive.

No one is getting pumped with medical grade silicone by a pumper, you might get a very high grade of silicone but it’s not medical grade. Silicone is silicone, if its caulk at home depot or in a doctor’s office….what makes certain silicone medical grade is that it’s pure and all impurities were removed. Like I said above, if you go to a pumper and there is a jug in the open AIR, just by the air hitting the substance makes it no longer medical grade.

Some pumpers purify the silicone themselves, it can be done. Research Dr. Norman Orentreich, he is dead now but was a pioneer of injectable silicone. He was a dermatologist and back in the 60’s he used to buy and purify the silicone himself. His office is run by his son in NYC and they still do silicone injections.

I have silicone in my hips and butt and love the ‘results’. I stress the word ‘results’ because the ‘results’ are a gamble, it all depends on how your body will react to the foreign substance, complications can happen and your body can reject the substance,. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn’t of gotten pumped, only because the risk is too high. If you hit a vein and inject silicone into the blood stream you’re done dead bye-bye lol, when I think of that I can’t believe I took that chance, today I find my life far too valuable to chance it. I was LUCKY and love my body, but with the possibility of complications or death it’s not worth taking the chance and I would not recommend anyone getting pumped.
