Why has discussion died on Hung Angels?

I know I was away for a while, but now that I'm back I'm finding it incredibly difficult to be active in the forums. In the past we used to have fairly active and robust discussions, but as I'm typing this all but 2 threads on the front page are pic threads. I feel like a total ass just posting pics as I'd rather be contributing.

We used to talk about things like sexual (& porn) preferences, pop culture discussions, etc.

So what did I miss? What happened that turned this into a pic index?

Basically - why did you all get boring? lol

What moderation is happening - the only stuff I see being edited is either pirated porn; doxxing or disparaging the models. We had all that back then too.

I think it comes in streaks. When there are good conversationists posting they draw others into the mix. When there are a lot of super compulsive picture posters requesting stuff, they tend to dominate...but some of the more engaging thread starters are not posting any more. Hopefully others will step up. Over the years you've posted a lot of creative threads so perhaps you're the ONE.

If it's not too personal, what ever happened to your friend Amy Gray? She hasn't posted here in years.

Its just not on Hung Angels where discussion has died down. I think its been happening on other message boards as well. I think most people prefer to communicate through social media sites. I know some message boards suffer from a lack of new members. Here it seems some new members here are more interested in asking "Who is this girl?" instead of contributing to any of the discussions.

Lol - I've tried posting a few since I'm back and they all seem to fizzle, buried in the avalanche of "Slutty tgirls" & "Dicks should look like this" which tbh makes me ask the question -- can you at least tell me why you think the pics are slutty or why a dick should look a particular way??!!!???!!!

One of my favorite scenes in history. That must be a bummer to start threads and have them fizzle. I always thought your threads were dynamite, even the ones that were shameless self-promotion jk:). I really think it only takes a few who are gifted in the art of conversation and the rest of us profit. We've lost some good people from this site, but there are still a lot of good ones left...just a matter of getting the stars to align so they're in the same place at the same time.

I've been wondering the same thing, Wendy. I don't know the answer. I've noticed more and more a bunch of "Which Shemale would you buy comfortable shoes for?" or "Which Shemale would you like to see working at Wal Mart" Poll type threads that end before they begin. I miss the sense of a conversation and a connection with a fellow traveler

Discussion has died because how many times can it be asked "Am I gay if I'm attracted to transsexuals?" or "Are TS's really normal people in real life?"

Because folks have issues if there isn't a pic in every thread...

I would say that as crazy as it sounds, but some HA members don't really support diversity. You have to have at least two sides for a healthy discussion. People that have ventured here because they appreciate femminity in all forms are repeatedly told they are gay.

Of course I can appreciate the other side too.

JMO, but personally, I have pulled out of some of the more engaging discussions because I don't see that it's actually a true discussion. I know what I am. So if someone can't accept me for what I am, I don't see the need to engage them in discussion- generalized. But I am sure others feel the same way.

I'd like to participate in more discussions and hope to do so in the future.

Besides the Carolina drama (it's super juicy like your ass) not much else Wendy. Did you see the Cap 3?

Anytime I come in no one is here...I comment on threads I have input towards...and then they're drowned under the picture threads....Pushed to page 3 before days end...I spend more time as a CB mod lately...at least there I have people to talk to.... :shrug

This isn't the "it" place anymore. With tumblir, and other social media outlets there are more places for girls to post pics and chat. I still enjoy coming here, although i miss the girls like Libby, and Eva Cassini, Kimmy.

Exactly!!! Why do people not use newsgroups any longer, where is MySpace? Things change on the internet and people expect instant gratification that they can get from Twitter and Facebook. Most of my interaction comes from Twitter now @groobysteven

Here is what you get moderated for:

Posting copyrighted links or links to outside tube/affiliate related sites.
Posting bullying or abusive messages specifically about a models looks when uncalled for.
Recently I've been deleting/moderating spam accounts created by either the sycophants or the haters on the Carolina threads. It's mostly 2 people creating multiple threads and I'm not giving them the platform to promote.

Apart from the odd one of two people who always come here with a fixed agenda, who else has been getting moderated, Batman?

My favorite is the "what female do you wish was a shemale" thread. I really don't understand that.

It's the natural forum "cycle of life". All boards ebb and flow. New people come along posting like crazy, some burn themselves out and are never heard from again, others just go quiet. I don't really care to go scrummaging back through to find the topics, but like I said, they were just people with opinions unpopular to the mods who hadn't done any of those things you mentioned. Maybe those instances were an exception to how the place is normally run? Idk.
