But as trans-attracted men, there is a cost and a social hardship.

THe only people who really know what it's like are other trans-attracted men.

strange, i see it exactly the opposite way. i don't consider it boasting, but i definitely don't make it a secret about what i like or i'm attracted to. it's definitely not conversation for polite company, so knowing when to divulge such information (and how) i suppose can also be considered a skill.

I believe calling other people's problems trivial when they perceive them as a big deal is showing a lack of empathy. Trying to dismiss someone's personal issues because you believe your problems are worse is petty. The example being if I was speaking to a child soldier I would never be able to express my feelings or problems because they could always respond with, "Do you know what is actually difficult?
