This may not be the right place for this post as it's not about a particular escort so apologies. I wanted to hear everyones view on the matter and give some insight to my own experiences.

I typically use Birchplace and Backpage to find girls and the majority of profiles stipulate 'safe only'. Of the hundreds of girls I have met over the years I can honestly say the vast majority will either suggest or attempt bareback. Absolutely all will claim to be clean when asked but given their casual approach to the matter, I can't see how this can be the case.

It feels as though stating on a profile 'safe only' is a way to ward off those who actively pursue unprotected sex, and by the laws of subtraction those left are likely clean. A crazy theory but one some escorts may adopt.

I do not write this post to offend anyone. Many girls respect themselves immensely and would never put themselves or their clients at risk but in my experience, many it seems are more than happy to.

If you offend anyone then I shouldnt worry, its their problem and not yours, nothing wrong with promoting safe sex. I have not had that many "offers" for unprotected sex but always moved on quickly having turned it down when it has been the case. I have also reported it on here naming the person. That is the way to deal with it, name and shame - there is no excuse regardless of setting, state of arousal or situation and so anyone offering bareback should be reported on here so others know the type of sex they practice.

Unless its a simple misunderstanding. A few girls I've been with have role played bareback, nudging etc. for an extra 'thrill' but have then covered up for the final push. Likewise girls have offered themselves, but if it seems like I'm getting carried away with these edgy games, will ask if I want to fuck them, then provide a rubber (note I have never barebacked an escort). Perhaps I have an honest/trustworthy (delete as appropriate) face.

You can discuss the merits or otherwise, but its not as dodgy as, say, docking in terms of uncovered games as far I can see.

I would say safer not safe, you still able to get some STD's just from oral but in terms of Hiv yeah it's pretty much 99% safe.

And it's only as boring as you make it which I'm sure you don't make it boring lol

I've never ever been offered it in a couple of years of seeing escorts on average about once per month. This is in no way a comment about the credibility of the OP, just my own experience.

More than anything, this tells me something about you. As an attractive guy who got started young in the scene, I've been offered bareback dozens of times. I've even had a handful of girls force the issue and sit on my uncovered cock after I had declined bb.

It happens and for me it has happen with both tg and gg. I use to see escorts quite a bit, but not so much these days. The best thing I can recommend is to bring your own condoms and don't rely on the person for condoms. I have been asked flat out for bb or they will say I'm ready with no condom in hand. Either I would have to ask them to get the condom or I would have to walk across the room to my pants to fetch my own condoms. From my experience those that offer bareback don't offer it to everyone and it is sometimes offered after a few visits, but it creeps me out when it does. Be diligent about your health. As long as you use a condom and there are no issues with it you are not going to get any stds.

Truvada can add a extra layer of protection, but you would be a fool to believe Wes that it's sufficient by itself.

I will say that I have had a few broken condoms. The worst situation was a gg provider who was fully aware the condom had broken and let me finished in her without even telling me. You can guess I was pissed, because I don't want to have pay child support or get a std. At least everything turned out alright. That's why I think truvada can add a layer of protection.

Yea i would say i have been offered at least 4-5 times over the past 5 years, also had one girl sit on me uncovered, scared the hell out of me i remember that next clinic visit was devastating...

It is disturbing. I have been offered bareback a small number of times. I would say about 20% of the time. But I will never forget that one girl who was so insistent and pushy about it that I had to walk out.

Setting aside the risks for a min, I'm curious as to how that would actually work anyway. Go to an NHS clinic and you'd have to wait a while before getting the test results. Results would effectively be invalid if any sexual activity took place between testing and obtaining results, so you'd have to pay for her being unable to work for that period of time. I don't know if private clinics offer same day results, but even then you'd probably be forking out for her time to be tested and the cost of the tests for both of you. 10 min of bareback sex would end up costing you way more than the normal £150 for an hour.

Laphroaig, as usual, you bring up some very valid points. Yes, there would have to be immediate confirmation for both parties and then off to the bed room together. Is immediate confirmation possible? I don't know. I do know when I was tested by my NHS clinic three years ago they were able to tell me right away that I didn't have AIDS but I don't know what else they tested for. I only brought this up because it was suggested (and I don't know how seriously actually) by the Tgirl herself.

Not personally, but I have heard of similar proposals before, struggling to remember where though at the moment.

There was one (gg or ts, I don't remember) claiming to have a home sti test kit, which she'd check you on before sex. I'd trust that about as much as the pregnancy test kits in Poundland...

I think another important thing to remember is the accuracy of the tests. The rapid HIV test is 95% accurate at 28 days after exposure. Could you imagine the accuracy if either one of the participants was exposed 7 days earlier. In a lot of cases, 3 months is more the norm to get an accurate test. That is why they recommend testing 3 months after an exposure, it is the most accurate results.

The rapid test is not worth the gamble in my opinion.

Unfortunately bareback sex can be very risky. But in my personal opinion bareback sex is the best. When I have been with an escort and offered bareback sex I have always declined. Well, not always but most of the time. There have been a few times when I was just so into a girl that I gave in and bottomed for them bareback. Thankfully I never caught anything. Dunno about UK, but here we have the lab, you go, get tested, then they give you the code thingy, you go in the next day (or was it 2 days) scan it, it prints out the results and that's it.

However, there is some stuff, like HIV that could take up to a month or more to show up in the blood... so if it's with escort it's still high risk low reward type of affair. so I would recommend against it.

Back in the day I actually had unprotected sex once (not with the escort, but a one night type of thing) and afterwards I got a slight cold and thought that I'm done, I don't wish anyone to feel like that. Luckily it came back all negative. (did re-test after a while as well just to be sure) :D

Basically this, plus, from reading some of the posts on here at times, there appears to be a train of thought that "trannies" are more of a risk than GG's.

It's not like we are talking about barebacking within the context of regular relationships which is where most pregnancies occur.

We are talking about it within the context of an exceptionally promiscuous group and as such the risks are vastly increased. As a result, so should the precautions be.

As for "Distain for the opinions of others" you may, for instance, choose to drive your car as fast as you fucking well can everywhere you go putting your life and that of everyone around you in danger but thinking you're an idiot for doing it isn't having disdain for your opinion, it's recogniseing your actions as the selfish and dangerous practice that it is.

Now I choose to be in this lifestyle even though I recognise the increased risk to my health that it brings but, as far as is practicable, I do what I can to reduce those risks for myself and others and to this end avoid barebacking and those who practise it.

Number of partners aside, GGs are less of a risk. Gays and trans are considered higher risk groups.

Receptive anal sex is by far the riskiest. The reason is that the lining of the anus is thinner than the lining of the vagina, so more prone to slight tears as a result of sexual activity. Being the active partner is much less risky.
