For me, it's deeper than just a lust. The problem for me is that if I don't do the parties or escort scene, the chances of meeting a TS/TG are next to impossible. If you run around looking, you're called a tranny chaser. You can call me a skirt chaser then because again its not just TS/TGs who I want to sleep with. I just wish there was some way I could just meet down to earth TS/TGs girls w/o all the drama. Hell, meeting & dating has enough drama w/o all the labels & stigmas attached.
Why not? I've met some great people and made some good friends via these routes.

I think, however, it's a societal problem, because tgirls are likely to create enmity among birth females, so they develop their own social circles.
That is then exacerbated by a society that refuses to see tgirls as women, so they are forced to work as escorts or porn stars to make a decent living.
All of those are reasons why it's necessary to shun the rest of society and join in the "tranny circles" no matter whether they're actresses or hookers. If it's the only game society lets them play, say fuck it and join in.

We develop tranny social circles mostly because we run the same circles, then we figure out who to be friends with. I am friends with many girls in the industry, not just because they are trannies and in the porn industry, that was just the ice breaker, but because of socializing and learning about people, I have made strong friends, girls and guys alike.
Outside the industry, my friends span the whole spectrum. Female, males, and trans. Gay, straight, bi, pan, asexual, and everything else. Same goes for Jamie and many other girls in the industry.
Hell, most of my friends are from my days in the Navy and that spectrum alone is eclectic.

There is no fear of going out at all. I'm just not interested in the club scene. Been there done that. That whole scene is just boring to me. Nor am I affected by anyone who would call me a tranny chaser. My point in bringing that up is about the labels others want to put on people which usually stems from a desire to easily identify someone. As I said I don't care what anyone says or thinks about me. The only people whose opinion of me matters, all have my last name or call me by a title like son, brother, uncle etc. I think you misunderstood the point of my post. Its all about the fact that as I genuinely see TS/TG women as women, it bothers me that I have to partake in things that I have no desire to while I don't have to do any of those things to meet generic girls. As someone else replied, it's more a societal thing. If society at large saw TS/TGs as I do, so many girls wouldn't be almost forced into lifestyles like escorting in order to provide for themselves.

Yes that is correct but we met before either of us got into serious relationships. We've both moved over the years & we still end up somehow seeing each other but it's very sporadic like 3-4 times a year. It doesn't change my attraction to TG girls though. Some of the coolest most down to earth people I've met have been TS/TG girls so it is more than just a physical thing.

Haha I just now saw this...it's never about how to pickup a girl, if you will, when I see one I find attractive. Whether she's TG or not, its about the places I have to go to meet TG girls. I can go to the Dunkin Donuts & see a gorgeous woman that I'd like to talk to no problem but I have to go to a club or escort to meet a TG girl & mind you I live in NYC area. Honestly? I think your issue is the people you hang out with.
Here's an example from my personal life. In general, most people I interact with regularly have no idea I'm transsexual. When one of my friends came across my porn, they were less surprised that I did porn and more surprised I was transsexual. The reason they were less surprised by the porn is that most of my friend circles are very sexually liberated and laid back. As a result, I meet a lot of people from a lot of walks of life including a large number of transwomen and men who aren't sex workers.
Hang out with folks who don't get hung up over gender and sex and you'll naturally meet more people you're looking for.

The reason I love trans women is because even while facing difficult situations in society or family they still have the courage to be who they are. I think society is losing out when they turn their back on these women because we can all learn so much from them as a human being. They face challenges that no one else has to face. They are a very important part of this world. Since dating and having a few relationships with trans women I will honestly say Ive learned more about myself by since knowing them. They are very brilliant and loving. I think they honestly know more about people then the average person. Since dating them Ive learned to be more open and less judgemental about people. We can all learn from these beautiful women. They are a gift to the world.
Oh yeah, plus they are the most beautiful out of the human race.
