and what is the reaction most of you(us) give them?

just really aggressive and condescending attitude to many things they post. Do you guys really want all their posts to just be , "here, buy my stuff, bye?"

Not speaking of anyone here, but previous boards, unrelated. Some girls ask for and invite confrontation, just as much so as do guys. That would be a known fact. There are girls out there that obviously photo-shop photo's for their ads on whatever sites they so chose, disguising their real looks, understandably to protect their identity, but still not an excuse in my book. If I'm paying them for their time, I'd rather not waste either of our time if they aren't going to be honest about themselves from the onset. There are also a growing number of girls on both sides of the fences that are turning to racial profiling when it comes to preferences of which race they prefer to see. Then you have the ridiculous, pathetic, time wasting phone tag, and whatever other games that go along with it. Now with that said, how are guys expected to take providers like this serious? How do they expect the guys to commit, consumate and follow-up with the date?

I know there are just as many guys out there that get off on calling, for whatever there reason may be, make it sound like their serious, but in reality they really aren't. They ask and invite for a confrontational situation, am sure only to come on here and release their frustrations.

Face it, there are guys that are not only addicted to this hobby and posting on this board that they get outright pathetic.

I don't understand the angst over the ladies being selective on who they see and who they won't. A preference in the sexual realm is what it is and no one should ever have sex with someone they are not attracted to just to avoid being called a bigot by some whiny ass. I'm 50 and not a Herculean physical specimen. There are plenty of ladies who state they don't date older guys. I don't bitch about that, because it's their preference. I move on down the line to those who are fine with older guys. I don't comment much on this site but this particular topic of so called bigotry among certain girls I find both annoying and amusing. If a girl doesn't want your type, suck it up and move on.

When I joined HA in Oct 12, I found I liked here a lot more than Hung Devils and other places. A lot of this was because there were a lot of tgirls regularly posting and a wide range of discussions. I look thru my friends list on here and I see so many that either post rarely now or just flat stopped.

There are a lot of high count posters >5000 that were regulars then that have wondered off. Does that improve the board.

Of the Tgirls that were at the TEA party this year, how many are regulars here. Too few, why is that.

I am on a number of Hobby (Escort) Review boards where the place is far more civil than here. Sure we discuss critically in reviews and get pretty wild. However, possibly because we want to actually see the women we act civil. The parties are really good, not quite those around the awards, but in the same league. Its not a matter of White Knights, but a matter of being a board that new folks go, "this is cool, I'll spend time here"

Yes it would be nice if this board treated all the tgirls as people rather than fantasy objects to beat off to. There would be a lot more of them here if it was.

You can forgive ignorance, up to a point. But the sheer nastiness of some of the posts putting girls down is disgusting.

To the OP...Threads like this don't pop up out of the blue...could you please tell me what thread ultimately caused you to post this?...because not all criticism is unfair.

I think some comments are uncalled for such as complaining about girls getting breast, SRS, surgery, etc. Some people are too harsh to new T-Girls who just started their transitions. Most members here have said somethings that we now regret and we have realized our mistakes.

However, Fred41 is right. Some criticism is fair. If you think someone is a bad performer, then by all means say it!

It might be related to a thread where a girl on this site said she was accepted to Stanford's MBA program. Someone then responded that this was virtually impossible given the little information she had provided about her undergraduate experience and how selective Stanford is. My view is that the rebuttal was honest even if it was upsetting to her. But I'm not sure if this is what the op is referring to.

When you say less women are contributing to the forum. In what way do you mean contributing? I mean, just putting it out there a lot of women visiting today are mainly here for promotion purposes. Very few will talk about other things.

In the past a lot more women participated, because there were topics to engage in. They weren't porn topics. When topics focus on porn, less women contribute to the discussion. This a porn forum so yes there is going to be a lot of discussion on porn most of it around promoting. I don't really call that a engaging interaction. It is good when they do it, but I mean do people talk about their occupation 24/7. Not really. If you want more interaction try posting a more inventive topic then who has the biggest breast.

At the end of the day this is a porn forum, so we all expect a lot discussions on porn and that's ok, but people sometimes want something besides porn. For example start a discussion on something you would talk about in your regular day and just maybe a few women on this board may join in.

And as a final note, when in the world did we sign an agreement that we all have to agree on everything. Everyone is titled to disagree and conformity and uniformity are the decay of society. Doesn't mean we must be rude in our dealings, but please accept that we all and wonderful don't agree on everything. Yes some of us are more sensitive than others, but bear in mind what happens on this forum has not in the past or in the future determine the fate of the world. (With the new movie opening up I really want to throw in some Tom Cruise joke).

I think sometimes people forget, the girls are why we are here.

Some of the posts in the thread in question may have been mean, but at least one person was simply responding to a whopper of a lie by pointing out that it was a whopper of a lie. That by itself was enough to upset the OP and her defenders. It didn't exactly come across as tender, but he was being candid. On objective matters, I don't think it's fair to expect someone not to talk.

It's been several, but the main ones were Evon's thread, and Krissy's thread.

arguing on the ole interwebz is no different than arguing in real life...everyone is usually so entrenched in their POV, there really is little chance to "win" or change people's minds. you end up pandering to your cohort and spinning your wheels with your dissenters that it is a waste of time no matter if the topic is rock vs paper or who has the best boobs.

I disagree Rally. A good discussion in person generally is civil with the validity of arguments considered. You might not change a mind but often there can be found some common ground.

A lot of the bullshit typed here is shit that would never be said to someone to their face. Guys who say that they would still say some of the vitriol spewed here to a babe's face seem to lack basic social skills.

Another example of what the OP was getting at is the thread "fuck em or date em.... with one character - a newish member - there saying he just thought of transsexuals as sex objects and one benefit was they can't get pregnant. A loathsome attitude IMHO.

The thing is, there are probably 3-4 individuals on this forum whose egos force them to comment on every post, to make shitty little remarks and to somehow enhance their days by just being all round twats. They believe they're the stars of the show and that someone what they say is relevant. Although they occasionally (and it's getting rarer by the week) add a bit worth to the conversation, normally they're just getting more trite and boring - yet think they're somehow keeping the integrity of this forum by "keeping it real". They're not.
Hungdevils suffers from a similar fate but has less people arguing against them, so it's fine, it's just a bunch of guys shooting dull shit to each other.

I've cleared out this forum more than once before and may do it again, if people can't stop being complete and utter arse holes. I find Evon's claim a bit of a stretch but so what? ... call her out on it, and then move on instead of making it your life's ambition to piss people off, alienate people and try to make yourself a personality on the site - you're not, you're mostly just not relevant.

If you wake up and can't get on here ... you now know why.

Once in awhile I do long for the days when tsntx, Hara, Khloe Hart, and some of the other girls made their presence here. Hell I miss Libby, Joanna, and Kelly's posts...back when they posted more frequently.

I first joined this forum a few years ago - primarily to post reviews after some years of running a reviews group on Yahoo and participating in a couple of others. There are a few members here from those old groups. Since then I've enjoyed posting on a variety of things - much intended to help other members.

There are some who might argue that visiting escorts for sex is, in some ways, essentially disrespectful. I'd disagree. The way you treat the girls is the key here. But that is not the point of this post.

It is about respecting the girls in this forum. Something which, from the very earliest days, I have tried to do.

And as i have got to know more and more transgendered women my respect for them has deepened. I now have several friends away from the escorting world (some former escorts, some not and a couple who re still working girls) and have learned at first hand of the difficulties and often anguish they've had to face in their lives. Many of those who are escorts do this simply to fund their transition and then vanish from the world they used to inhabit. And some are perfectly happy in their oles in porn or escorting.

But I believe that they are all - almost without exception - worthy of respect and decent treatment.

I agree with the OP that many girls gave been driven from this site by the aggression and disrespect shown by some members. This is a shame. Some guys will take the attitude that "if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen." And i know that - first and foremost - this forum is about pornography. The people that run it also run many excellent sites offering that to subscribers. And they're generous to post a huge volume of material here free of charge for fans.

But those fans should also consider that behind the images of sexy girls are real people with feelings - and often complicated lives.

I'll probably get a few thumbs down for these remarks for those who - in my view - essentially hate women of all sorts. There is a lot of that in the world. You've only to look at some of the terrible incidents in recent weeks in Africa, Pakistan or India. Let's not allow hate to become the predominant feelings the girls get from the men here. Please.

It isn't even worth it. There are countless others out there just like him.

It worries me that he might ever have contact with a trans in real life (for example, if one applies for a job). That is where the discrimination outside of porn comes from...when guys feel trans women are good for nothing but sex (if that....actually, probably safer if they don't have a thing for trans people, then they won't try to molest them).

Katherine, who has a very sweet personality as you're well aware of, was treated quite harshly...I will add though that in addition to some people hating women of all sorts, my suspicion is that they hate themselves for being attracted to trans woman in the first place.

Who treated Katherine harshly? She had a couple of crap reviews early on - but mostly good ones after that. And yes, I do know her very well indeed.

I think the worst critics - the trolls and the misogynists - usually wind up getting banned or at least shouted down by a majority of the usual posters...and rightfully so.
I don't see so much of that in the threads cited as examples here.
There are definitely some instigators though that like to fan the flames...

I think most disagreements can be debated in a post or two ...it isn't necessary to go on for pages - once a position is stated...it usually stands for itself...it doesn't need to be beaten into the ground...unfortunately sometimes some of the girls are the offenders...often they won't let a thread die either.
I could be wrong...I often am, but I think most girls eventually leave out of boredom...or simply go on with their lives.
