I wish they would quit putting this "I" instead of this "1". Drives me nuts when I Google the number. Quit writing words instead of letters. I wanna just highlight it and throw it up in the search box.
Also, I like all people but please be proud and honest about what race you are.

a lot of people don't like to admit to being a particular race OR like to hone in on being 1/16 of something else that they favor. also, the issue of race vs. ethnicity/nationality comes into play because terms like "latina" or "asian" encompass so many races and countries.Quote:

You're totally correct. However, "creole" has a certain connotation among American black folk, mainly that you are light skinnded or a more "high class" even if you are darker.
