If using a commercial enema such as fleet, I recommend dumping the solution and using just water. The fleet has a mild laxative in it which can cause problems at just the wrong time. Plus, you can then re-use the bottle.

That's way to long to go w/o redouching. Refuse can still make it's way down there plus if you eat something in between it will find it's way down there too. That's why when you have a colonoscopy you can't eat anything the day before right up until the time of the procedure.
