Why do people change sex from male to female? Do they really feel like a woman or do the only want to look more feminine and inside stay a (for example "gay") guy inside? Do they only feel themself more beautier with the female look, but remain inside still a man? So are shemales and post-op-transsexuals only in other words "feminine looking and soft feeling men"?
How do you think about this?
because we are women in the inside and we feel trapped in the wrong body. Actually it is medical condition where the brain develop as one gender but the body develop as the other gender.

Sorry, but most of the commtents here an really rubbish:-). I really recently read some news about some pre-op-transsexual in Brazil oder im Thailand, which do really not feel like a woman. In Brazil some of them are gay and are not accetpted by the society. In Thailand some of the pre-ops change to make money on the sex-market there. The situation in the US centainly could be seen in an other way:-). Can you share this news?
Some post ops are just faggots who transitioned for the reasons you said, others are waiting till they can afford the surgery and take care of all their "clocks" first. In my personal opinion I think if you don't plan on getting srs or want it you are a gay man, same thing with men (if you want a woman with a dick your gay).

I think this article is excellent explanation about male, female and transsexual brains. Here scientists research postmortem brains of heterosexual males, heterosexual females, homosexual males and MTF transexuals. They find out, that heterosexual males as well as homosexual males and FTM transexuals have male brains, on the other hand heterosexual females and MTF transexuals have female brains and this is measured in neuronal differences in bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BSTc). Number of SOM neurons in the BSTc of the male brains is around 71% higher than in female brains.
Interesting is, that difference between male and female brains could be seen on ultrasound scanning after 26th week of pregnancy, because there is a difference in gray and white brain mass between male and female brains.
Transgenderism are a kind of "birth defect" because child is born unsynchronized and have brains of one gender and body of another gender. It is not their fault to be born that way and people will have to accept them as normal human beings and understand them, that they want to be, what they are.

There isn't one single reason for transitioning, just as there is not one single cause of the desire, unless that single cause is unhappiness. I knew a transexual whose motivation appeared to be phrased in the classic cliche, I am a woman trapped in a man's body, but on closer investigation the person was so unhappy being a man that the assumption a full transition to being female was the only solution, in her case I could find no evidence that she had tried to live as a female from an early age. As with other transexuals I have known, she had an absolute horror of her male body and couldn't bear to look at it so was obviously not going to allow anyone else to. What I don't know is whether or not the surgical solution worked -does unhappiness go away? The subject cannot be answered satisafactorily because, as I suggest, there are different reasons, different people, different cultures, different surgical procedures (I don't believe many members of HA would willingly go to either India or Pakistan for SRS).
The crucial question about SRS -does it work? is as important as the question, do transexuals tell the truth about their lives? (does anybody?).
