Has anyone else here tried to suppress sexual impulses toward women that are transsexual by definition and if so...how long could you hold out. It's weird for me cause when I'm in a relationship with a GG I try to abstain from TS porn because it lowers my sex drive when I'm with the GG(usually cause I try to imagine them as a TS).
However when I abstain from TS porn, I become hornier for GGs and usually the girl I'm dating and TS porn doesn't do alot for me during these periods.
Right now I'm in one of the "abstain from TS porn" phases, which isn't going too well right now.
Am I alone and if I marry a GG I wonder if I'll ever be able to suppress these feelings, cause they feel so natural. I feel at this point in my life and my location and circle of friends now won't allow me to meet a T-girl that I could relate to and date seriously, so I feel like I'll marry a GG by default basically.

All I can say is never marry anyone by default. Only marry someone you truly love and want to spend your life with. As for your conflicting inclinations, you've got to go with what feels true and right for you. Suppressing your feelings is a formula for problems later on.

I mean how can I be married to a GG and keep my interests in TS, I mean I could through pornography which I'm definite I'll do with "straight porn". Just hard to explain to a 22 yr old chick from the Midwest my interest in ALL beautiful women.

Sometimes it's the woman you marry: that's the primary relationship, and has to take first place over outside interests. I got lucky: my wife fully understands and supports my interest in tgirls. But if she didn't, I would either quit it or I wouldn't be married (and I most definitely plan on remaining married!).

If you find GG or TG you want to marry, the only way it is going to work is if you tell everything you desire. Set the rules, what you want...TG's everything. I realize there are ramifications to this, ie she's disgusted and tells the circle of friends, "what a creep". If you suspect this may happen, she's not right. You haven't connected. I could write a long dissertation on this, but Estatic has nailed it. And Estatic you are one of the luckiest guys on the face of the earth. True compatability is extremely difficult to find.

You've got that right, ezed, I'm very lucky indeed. I'd say it's true compatibility, but not perfect by any means. It's finding the balance that makes it work.

I don't know. I tend to think we're all a bit strange, at least I am. Not in a bad way but just different. I think I may be in love with a TG but she's not into GG's. (For the record I'm into GG's TG's and men). I personally don't think its about finding balance, I think its about finding somone as similar, different, strange, perverted, deviant (what have you) as I am. So far that hasn't been so easy. To the guys that have found it I salute you!

Are you (the OP) stating that you've got a dilemma based on dating a GG and waking up wanting a TG but still trying to make the GG/You thing work out?

If this is the case, i totally understand. However, this does make it, as a part-time psychotherapist-from-la-la-land, a parallel to the more typical human sex fantasy:

It's just normal, basic human behavior.

Thanks Ecstatic and everyone else for your posts. If you guys met the kinda girls I date or the one I am with now, it would be extremely hard for them to understand me totally and my sexual orientation.

I think Adam_Totally hit on it. We have a sexual orientation all our own! We may be the "true perverts" not trying to be derogatory, but actually honest, we love it ALL! And the sexier the better. Well off to one of the only gay bars in the Lehigh Valley where I might find a TG/TS. Wish me luck!
