There's a lot of topics that pop up here that I never even think about opening not because I don't have the time for it, but because I'm afraid of incurring permanent damage to my eyes from them rolling too much ;) Btw, for what it's worth, I like your new avatar, but I'm a pushover for redheads and brunettes, so you had an edge.

I avoid the politics and religion forum like the plague.

About 50% of the posts I skip over looking at. Pretty much reviews, personals, party photos and general are all i even look into.

I try and ignore anything posted by Kelly Shore, unless I suspect there will be an argument which I can read about where she is being flamed. Other than that, it's pretty much a question of what interests me (which is little) so I pretty much skeem over everything and ignore a lot.

I actually thought the Miriam post started out quite well, then it just slowly got retarded. And off topic for some IMO.

But we all have what we want to ignore. I tend to ignore anything that sparks 0 interest.

I actually started coming here to keep up with the haps in NYC...parties etc...I stayed because it was entertaining, for a while. Now pretty much nothing of value here. A good fight is comical but even those seem so Jerry Springer-ish now. It's the same ol'crap over and over, so I pretty much browse 'til I see a topic that sticks out.

The cartoons thread with Trish and Kabuki is also entertaining.

Arianna....though we dont agree often I will agree that I've grown a little tired of some of the bullshit topics on here lately. There are a few spicy ones every now and then but compared to the way it used to be its not that great anymore. This has become more of a chat room now.

I tend to avoid most topics where anyone is grandstanding about anything. Usually it's a bunch of nonsense. I like this board, but I don't think we can say that it honestly contributes to healthier communication, particularly between men and the transgendered.

That being said, I DO make exceptions for one kind of thread- the male-bashing, "TS admirer/Tranny Chaser" rants that pop up now and again. They're usually rooted in wrath rather than reason and it friggin' irritates me to no end when somebody bashes someone else's sexual preference/identity/fetish, what have you.......... There's often a whole Demonize or Idolize gestalt here that is polarizing and every group (although clearly not all or even most of the posters), whatever their gender, sex, or identity contribute to this clusterf*ck equally. So at least, we are an egalitarian community in that sense: we've each got our representative morons and rational thinkers.

Oh, and I like to look at the porn pics.

Wendy, I quite agree! Ari, that is a great pic.

As for what threads I ignore, it's any that are rediculously repetitive: whether "who is this girl" "am I gay" "who has the biggest" (all of which are incredibly dull) to those which start out very engaging but fall off into drivel or worse.

Too many to even mention. More often than not its not only the stupidest topic I tend not to bother with but moreover, the poster who's got nothing much upstairs (his/her head) creating such retarded topics. Unless ofcourse, someone said something remotely interesting in such a thread that I might counter post/reply. Otherwise, I just ignore shallow topics like "Am I gay?" or "Did you eat or poop today?" type of threads. :evil:

The only difference between chatting/posting here and actually chatting online is..On here you wait for a few minutes before you could reply (Sometimes hours even days before you get any response) vs. actually having a convo in realtime sponteneously (with no delays). LOL ;)

Here there are specific topics and debate rather than conversation or the multiple cross conversations that blur past me in a chat room. The Truth

I usually ignore around 80% of the threads that are posted here. I simply skim and move on. I can't control what other people post, so I don't worry too much about it. I thought about not coming back to this forum about two weeks ago because of all the bickering and non-sense. Don't get me wrong. Bickering is good now and then. But it was getting a little bit out of hand. I do love the pic threads, though.

I have a more scientific method of determining which thread I read.
First, I only access this forum on odd numbered dates, simply because this is a very odd forum.
Second, I usually ignore the first rule due to its absurdity.
Third, when I choose a thread, I usually do not open unless the initiator of the thread is an experienced and motivating writer. This holds true in all cases unless the thread contains pictures or references to large breasted girls with huge cocks.
Finally, the one rule I am steadfast in following is I never open a thread that I have participated in. To me it's like a comic laughing at his own joke. Strictly bad taste and classless.

I hope that answers those burning questions all of you had regarding my reading habits.
