I was trying to find women's shoes I do like and stumbled across that. That's a car payment.
A good cut of filet mignon and a bottle of champagne.

LOL- that is the price point of all of his shoes. The cheapest I have ever seen is $385- but the tend to run from $500-$800.
I found this on a Manolo Blahnik fan site- and I think it describes it perfectly- at least for me, why these shoes are so special
"When a woman buys a pair of Manolos, then, she buys into this story of craftsmanship and artisanry. A woman willing to spend $500 for a pair of shoes is buying into the fantasy, not entirely without truth, that these shoes have gone through an exodus to arrive specially for her. The Manolo creation story is one that weaves together handsketched hand-sketched designs from the artist himself, meticulous selection of fabrics and materials, Blahnik's own assemblage of the shoe's basic parts, then painting, adorning, refining etc... As a woman steps into the soles of her Manolos, then, she marks the end of their elaborate journey and the beginning of hers. "
I would dare to say I fall 'in love' with certain pairs of shoes. If I am down or depressed sometimes I will look at them and just will imagine wearing them out, or what I can wear them with and it makes me feel better.
Now you're talking! :)Quote:

Elaborating on the above, ingesting an entheogenic dose of LSD or psilocybin mushrooms is very intense and spiritually rewarding.
Watch a video clip of why late comedian Bill Hicks (R.I.P.) is glad that (psilocybin) mushrooms are illegal:

A Vision
In 1976 my wife, Allyson, and I had an experience that changed our lives and our art. We sacramentally ingested a large dose of LSD and lay down. Eventually a heightened state of consciousness emerged in which I was no longer aware of physical reality or my body in any conventional sense. I felt and saw my interconnectedness with all beings and things in a vast and brilliant Universal Mind Lattice. Every being and thing in the universe was a toroidal fountain and drain of self-illuminating love energy, a cellular node or jewel in a network that linked omnidirectionally without end. All duality of self and other was overcome in this infinite dimension of spiritual light. I felt I had been there before, or perhaps in some way was always there. This was the state beyond birth and death, beyond time, our true nature, which seemed more real than any physical surrounding and more real even than my physical body. The clear light matrix arose out of a field of pure emptiness. As utterly convincing as it was, when the light receded, I opened my eyes to behold Allyson and our bedroom once again. I was somewhat shocked to learn that she had experienced the exact same transpersonal dimension at the same time, which we determined by our descriptive drawings and discussion of the awesome beauty of the state. This experience of the infinite net of spirit transformed our lives and gave us a subject that became the focus of our art and our mission.

Guess which one was better for the foot? Yep, the cheap knock off in this case.
Loud Music when to sing to when I'm alone, my sketchbooks, and designer handbags.
Well put. I prefer Moet & Chandon White Star or Veuve Clicquot. Both offer great quality at a decent price.Quote:

I have those in teal with the black lace over lay and they were around $600.
However, because they are collectibles and they sell out so fast (some are on waiting list) people will sell them on ebay for about $1,000.
As well- most styles are only available in the boutique (Though Saks and Neimans and VERY few websites sell them), and there are very few boutiques around the word. So that adds to their collector value.
Luckily in NYC, there are two Louboutin boutiques.
Yes, I know, and it shows as you always look good, but $540.00 for flats? Sheesh!Quote:

I was gonna say alcohol or sweet tea, but I'd have to go with a Great Meal. Not just any meal but a Great Meal. I had the privilege about a couple months ago to eat at a restaurant in NY called "Nobu". Everything was amazing and I'm sure anyone from NY will agree thats eaten there. Theres also this great Cuban restaurant named "A bit of Havana" thats great. Point is I love a great meal that I cant cook myself LOL. I can cook but these guys are amazing.
That cuban restaurant is also where I saw the most beautiful girl in the world work. (To me). She had a hair color that was borderline gold and blond, hairstyle like Tracy Ellis Ross, and a face and body similar to Aaliyah. We could have talked but I screwed it up (Long story). She doesnt work as often anymore though.
free time with no agenda, no responsibilities, no direction
ill have to go with food
this ones going to get me beaten badly but marketing seems to work a lot better on people if their testosteron levels are lowQuote:

but that thing you posted earlier had marketing response written all over it and i personally am disgusted by how easy it is to sell anything for any amount of money just by adding a fake sense of exclusivity... especially fashion is full of ugly stupidly overpriced stuff that sells amazingly well
