The NFL's first Transgender Cheerleader
Re: The NFL's first Transgender Cheerleader
Good for her and for the Panthers, but I bet there's another NFL boycott.

Quite possibly true.
But you can't force people to watch or attend a sports event - we're not North Korea.

Yeah, I don't watch any of them. But NFL fans are particularly vocal about anything even vaguely nontraditional.

Re: The NFL's first Transgender Cheerleader
Does she give good head? Isn't that what Cheerleaders are for?
Re: The NFL's first Transgender Cheerleader
Does this change the 'tuck rule' in the NFL now?
Re: The NFL's first Transgender Cheerleader
as much as i want this to be important....its 1) the panthers who suck and no one cares about and 2) its a cheerleader so while 1st, still not impactful for the NFL.
Re: The NFL's first Transgender Cheerleader
The headline is actually first “out” transgender cheerleader, which suggests there could have been transgender cheerleaders before, who kept their gender status a secret. This was the case in the high fashion modeling world, if I’m not mistaken (recognition was given to “first openly transgender” fashion model, but other transgender models had already broken that barrier, but were not publicly open about their status)
Re: The NFL's first Transgender Cheerleader
For the "First Transseual" NFL cheerleader, they should have chosen someone more aesthetically pleasing.

Reminds me of how Playboy announced their first "out" transgender playmate a couple of years ago, acknowledging they'd had stealth Playmates before, most famously Caroline Cossey, who of course got outed a couple years after appearing in the magazine (and to Playboy's credit, they invited her back, long before trans acceptance was fashionable). I once read a thread where a couple of tgirls knew for a fact there had been at least 3 other stealth trans PB centerfolds over the years, which of course I've been curious about ever since.

Honest question- Do Cheerleaders make a difference to a game? We don't have them in football or any other game in the UK as far as I know (Basketball?) Aren't they just eye candy and groupies for the guys?

They're additional entertainment. They certainly don't hurt the games. There's a lot of downtime during an NFL game. They can do stuff on the sidelines and alleviate the boredom.

This reminded me of what a good-ass series Transsexual Cheerleaders was. Devil's Film needs to stage a revival.
