Another TS murder: Indy ts named layia aka honey

Sad to say but Godiva just told me that Layia lovely aka honey was killed Christmas Day in Indy! Apparently some guy from Ft. Wayne and ended up killing her, her boyfriend and their pitbull...............Not sure the exact story of why the boyfriend was there or anything like that but thought I would share............I know she had just shot for FrankTgirls recently!

Here is the article and of course they refer to her as "he", but most ts dont change names legally or ID so when this happens I guess they go by legal name, etcc but from her latest pics you could clearly tell she is preop!

yes, it's always sad to hear of a passing. I will admit when I first saw this thread in another forum I too wondered about the backstory that led to this horrendous act. Seeing the post about the SUV description I'm even more curious now.

Mike Hunt I assume is the boyfriend who was also slain.

Thank you Wendy for posting this. So sad, it's almost becoming a weekly affair. This has to stop. We have to become more visible and we have to DEMAND respect, regardless of our "position" in life.

I added a post to the article in the paper's website. It would be nice if others would step out of our "safe" forum and go add some comments to these stories in the mainstream press.

The AP (Associated Press) policy is to use the proper gender markers in articles. Journalists at 2nd rung newspapers like the Indy Star are mostly low paid, somewhat ignorant lemmings who have never read the AP Stylebook and often exhibit homophobia due to peer pressure at the paper.

The 2006 edition:

transgender Use the pronoun preferred by the individuals who have acquired the physical characteristics of the opposite sex or present themselves in a way that does not correspond with their sex at birth.

If that preference is not expressed, use the pronoun consistent with the way the individuals live publicly.
