guys, stop pissing the girls off

There are excellent reasons to have serious doubts about Evon"s claim re Stanford's B school...if she's wants to come here to announce it that's fine, but to expect that everyone is simply going to believe what she says isn't realistic. Saying nothing is good but when someone initiates the discussion, expect there to be multiple responses.

On the other hand, if a girl posts her pics and says "I hope you like the," I'm not going to express a negative opinion if I don't...but neither will I offer false praise.

I agree. She should've have known how folks would have reacted to said statement, especially since she did post here a bit previously. Personally I would have made that statement within my own circle of friends, not to some random faceless strangers (for the most part).

my reasoning for the original post is, that while fundamentally I agree with you, I believe that some guys (not all) just don't know when to let something go

they could've stopped at "I don't believe you" and just gotten the hell out. but, nooooo, they insisted more and more like if they needed to prove something to themselves.

they do this more often than we think. and if the management allows it, so be it.

if they don't care that the amount of girls posting here is at an all time low (well at least since I started here in 2007), that's their deal.

So what happened to Stavros ? Was he banned or just decided to "say nothing"? He hasn't posted anything for 4 weeks.
Either way, his insightful and articulate input is sorely missed around here.

While I'm on this subject , is there some way to see if someone has been banned? Would it be on their profile page? Because I was also wondering what happened to Dino Velvet.

I miss Dino Velvet's posts, too. Seemed like he walked away after unleashing a barrage of poop-related epistles.

I thought the avatar Dino left in dismay over the fact that the user Natina existed on this board. Or did that already happen, and this is a new thing?

No , Dino came back after the Natina thing ,than he dropped out again in April.
