Msnbc is just as bias as Fox News. Don't tell the uptight liberals that though.
Also, Fox News channel and Local Fox affiliates are completely different entities. Liberals don't care for facts though.
The only thing worse than a conservative is a liberal who thinks he is any better.
i can see conspiracy theories arising.
There is no photographic or video evidence/confirmation of bin laden's body. Also it was stated he was buried at sea within hours of his death. So no physical evidence. Why couldnt they arrest him, use tear gas or sleeping gas etc?
Some will now argue it is a publicity stunt and he was not even captured
There will be pictures. Besides, what did people expect?? We were going to fly his body back to the U.S. and drag him through the streets??
His body was never going to be formally shown to the public anyway.
why the need to bury him so quickly? That is not the usual course of events for enemy dead, especially high profile ones like him. Have they got something to hide? and to bury him in an unmarked spot at sea? I can see the conspiracy industry going into overdrive
Are you smoking crack?? There's no 'spin' on this one. BHO iced OBL. Something nine years of Bush/Cheney couldn't manage to do.
Already I can hear the arguments, 'killing OBL isn't THAT big a deal.'
Turn on a TV. People have been celebrating in front of the WH since 12AM. The FUCKING STOCK MARKET ticked up with news of OBL's murder!!!
U.S. Navy SEALS put a bullet through Bin Laden's dome and dumped his body at sea.
WIN.
they took his body to afghanistan first for some reason it says .. not sure what for ...maybe it will all come out of the next 2 days .
This was out of respect for the Muslim practice of burial within 24 hours of death (same as in Judaism) and also, they say, so as not to create a place which would become a shrine for radical islamists.
So respect for islam and a covert critique of its radical distorters. Makes sense to me.
It doesn't make us any safer. Aymoun al Zawhiri the "deputy leader" while, not having Bin Laden's mystique, was always a more intelligent strategist than Osama himself - and he is alive and well. Besides al-Queda is not a centralised organisation - it is an idea, a franchise.... and al-Queda globally is horribley alive and well. So the war will surely go on (and on and on and on)
