You're right, however, for the most part, these girls stay safe as many of them are escorts or active in the industry so they likely won't jeopardize their livelihood engaging in risky behavior. And yes, the window period for HIV is about 3 to 6 months.

It's called Prep. It doesn't entirely eliminate the risk but significantly decreases it. Not sure how prevalent it is in porn or prostitutes though
